First time using QuickBT...as I needed some BTC real Quick...get it...no pan intended...

Anyways, I would have issued a 5 in 5 review but I'll keep one for the fact that they made me wait to send an email...but if that's just a play to keep it safe then someone better tell me so I can change it to 5 out of 5...

Once you buy...and call the number to confirm your name...wait 1-24 hours (24 is the max on their website FAQ)...this depends on your patience level...then send an email inquire about your receipt # and boom...

Someone by the name of Alex responded in a super speedy fashion..thanks Alex!!! Now how do we transact largerBT...lol

I placed an order 24 hours ago.

Quickbt.com was able to remove money from my account within one minute of me arriving on their website but is struggling with the steps after that. Verification needed on a site the is advertised as just needing a phone number. No communication over 24 hours.

Update: it now looks like order was received a few min less than 24 hours after order and I have been assured that future purchases will occur instantly.

No communication through that time was frustrating but I did receive full transfer. I did receive communication just now and apology which is acceptable to me.

There are many places for Canadians to buy bitcoin (BTC).

You will find over 20+ websites/exchanges where you can purchase BTC if you live in Canada on the Buy Bitcoin Worldwide website (sorry, TrustPilot does allow hyperlinks in reviews; so do a Google search for them).

Not all of them may still be trustworthy, or in operation, by the time you check them out as the crypto world is extremely volatile and exchanges are, almost without exception, unregulated (and they open almost as frequently as they shut down, without notice) ... so we suggest you do your due diligence and conduct your online transactions with much caution:

(1) Do a Google search for the very latest reviews/updates/reports by users of any of the sites/exchanges that you might want to use;

(2) Buy only a small amount of BTC for your first purchase (to minimise being cheated of your hard-earned money); and

(3) Only use money you are prepared to lose.

We usually use our credit card (as it provides some degree of consumer protection) to buy BTC from Coinbase ... where BTC is deposited automatically into our digital wallet with them within seconds.

It is the first time we have used QuickBT and this time we made our payment with online Interac (instead of credit card) from our Royal Bank savings account ... something we do not recommend doing, unless you are willing to take more risk or unless you are dealing with a currently proven & reputable seller/exchange/platform.

The small amount of 0.01 BTC we bought from QuickBT - as an initial test purchase - was deposited into our Blockchain wallet after 2 days (a lot longer than expected) ... and after a number of email communications with Jamie Robinson at QuickBT (who was apologetic but very kind & helpful in expediting/processing our transaction).

Based on our initial test transaction with QuickBT, we currently rate their service at 4 out of 5 stars.

QuickBT would receive a higher rating from us if the BTC purchased from them could be quickly & automatically deposited into our wallet within seconds (like with Coinbase) ... without having to email to them constantly to find out when they would be (slowly & manually) delivering the BTC to our wallet.

Be forewarned: successful past transactions with any website/exchange/seller in the crypto world is no guarantee that your next transaction would also be successful.

Always conduct your online transactions with extreme care & caution - and risk only what you are willing to lose - regardless the apparent/virtual reputation of the exchange/seller/platform you are dealing with.

Do not hesitate to write online reviews of your experiences to help out others.

And do not hesitate to report genuine loss/theft/scams to your local police.

Processed first Bitcoin transaction with QuickBT and waited for transaction to show up in my wallet. It took a while but that was down to being a new account. The process was seemless.
The transaction was done within 24 hours and I received an email from QuickBT with an explanation and an alert that the transaction was being processed and to check my wallet.
Whole process was easy and done correctly. Their email also offered further assistance if I needed it.

I purchased 200$ of bitcoin from Quick BT and called to confirm my order. They say that it'll take 12 hours to receive your bitcoins. They take much longer than that. I still haven't received anything after a day.

Thiefs I recently tried to purchase 200 CAD worth of bitcoin to my exodus wallet. It never arrived and when I contacted quickthiefsbt I was advised they would return the funds. I waited 10 days made contact again and have had no response . buyer beware. crooks

It says 10 to 60 minutes. I validate my account with my phone. Everything should be fine.

Amazing company - Had an issue that I hadn't even realized, which was my fault and they helped me without me even asking. I will always use Quickbt as they are a company with integrity and transparency.

I've read so many stories about bitcoins, and without investing huge amount of efforts over the last few years, I've followed bitcoin's story as a possible investment option. Well, who can quite possibly argue this year 2017, that if I had bought some bitcoin a few years back when I had my first interest, I would be definitely be happier.

So this summer, I picked up a book about bitcoin and started researching on bitcoin exchange, wallet and etc. What I didn't know was there seems to be no single policy that applies to all bitcoin related companies like regular banking institutions are. Simply buying some bitcoins to test was literally near impossible. Living in rural Canada for work temporarily, I didn't want to drive hours to nearest city to wire money to bitcoin exchange company, or some companies required cell phone number(how can anyone just assume everyone should have a cell phone? In a lot of areas in Canada, getting cellphone signal is still impossible. I have internet at work for sure but my home just got internet this year), or some companies were just so draconian about submitting your papers for example such as ORIGINAL copy of my bill statement(Are they kidding?). Most of the companies took days to respond to your questions or, they all have some attitude problem which was a big turn off.

I almost gave up on bitcoins right before I got in touch with QuickBT. For any question I had, this company responded so fast with any information I could find helpful. QuickBT made it so much easier to understand and to participate in this new system of investment. Yesterday I bought my very first bitcoins, it took less than 2 seconds and now I am looking at my coins in my wallet with a great satisfaction.
