Just one email and all our troubles were over. We were given details of a wonderful company and within a week we were warm and cosy with a brand new boiler fitted and working well.
Won't hesitate to use Quotatis again in the future

The company we used was Roofing & Building Ltd. They came and showed us the various problems we had with the tiled roof. They started straight away, worked well, striped the roof on one side and found problems on the other side .In the end we had to pay £ 17000. A month later under heavy rain our internal ceiling in one room started leaking and water came through. We now have to let it dry ,then that can be repaired.( Another bill ) We found another Roofing company in to mend the initial failure, as the job was not done correctly.Further, despite asking, we never did receive a guarantee , which tells me something.
Under these circumstances, I cannot therefore recommend this company. I only hope it was a one off. Going through Quotatis, I thought it was safe !

Omar did a thorough and very satisfactory boiler service, followed by installation of new pump, plus radiator and pipe powerflush throughout. Omar explained each process clearly. Prices quoted stayed true even when unforeseen added fixes were required. Highly recommend.

Excellent installation by friendly knowledgeable team. Left everywhere clean and tidy. After sales not so good sadly hence 4 stars instead of 5.

The company replaced the leaking guttering at the rear of the house. We were advised a layer of felting need to be replaced, an opinion which we accepted. The felt was replaced with a modern breathable membrane and the roof made good. The work was carried out quickly and cleanly. It was very professional from the initial quote to the completed work. This company is a scam, don't trust anything they say, they steal money from tradesman be aware.

A short time after registering with Quotatis we were contacted by James from Prestige Builders & Roofing Ltd who quoted for a new Patio. We accepted the quote and the work was carried out quickly and to a very high standard. James and his crew were helpful and friendly. We are very pleased with the finished result. We would definitely recommend James and his company.

Individual problems are soluble; but when there are problems wherever you look, it begins to look irretrievable. I want a solar installer for a complex domestic installation that will combine arrays of traditional panels with solar glass and likely long DC cable runs. So I want experience, & not a novice installer. I carefully prepared a comprehensive brief describing needs. And the problems began.

I was asked to shortlist from a pageful of suppliers identified only by logo - no links to websites or information to indicate capability or location. This is utter rubbish. I think I may have chosen one - and this uncertainty signals a further problem: usability of the site (which is a clear but less-functional knock-off of myBuilder) is very poor.

However an installer rang within hours and we had a satisfactory initial conversation - apart from the fact that he had not been passed my brief by Quotatis - only my phone number. He took my email address and promised to send some information. But none has appeared.

Quotatis emailed me to say my application was '40% complete' & invited me to complete it by writing in a box called 'Additional information': this was pointless. And also to send photos - also unnecessary unless their contractors cannot read. I found navigation on the website poor with no ready way to revisit and call up jobs I have posted, and no route for telephone support.

Then after a week, Quotatis wanted me to give feedback - on the contractors - avoiding I noticed, the possibility of my giving feedback on their part in the shambles. And shortly after this I was told my job had been closed in a message giving a support number for the first time. I rang, and then spent 15min without answer before losing patience.

I could detail more, but lack the motivation to volunteer even more of my time to help make Quotatis viable. It's been a disappointing experience.

don't recommend companies which clearly under perform and have bad reviews

This company have been bombarding me with marketing emails lately and I never had any dealings with them. They clearly bought my details from a third party and now decided to harass me. If this is what they do to people they don’t know, I dread to think how they treat their customers. Awful ethics!

After 4 days of calling and messaging I am no where. Impossible to speak to. If you want to cancel your contract the number doesn't work, it can't be done by email or messenger. They try to call you then cut you off and then say they have tried to call. Their leads are recycled from other providers. AVOID.

Was told by rep when I signed up that all leads had been verified, this was far from the case when I tried to contact leads. They (Quotatis)were difficult to contact when I tried to get refunds on some of the uncontactable leads. Used them between 19/3/23 and 7/5/23 stopped using them based on cost and poor quality leads (21in total)

Got some good quotes for boiler repair. Nice and easy.

I was tricked into giving my contact details and address to this company.

I believed I was filling out a form for a local contractor to request a single quotation, as per the other reviews.

The reply to the reviews below states, "when filling out the form the site does advise that you will be matched with companies that work in your area." However, this is very deceiving as the text with this statement is the same color as the background, making it unreadable.

Considering the incredibly dubious techniques used to gain my personal information, I would never use or trust a contractor / trader from this website.

Further to this, the website they use as a front to gather personal infomration is actually owned by a marketing company 'Mi6 Marketing, an independent online marketing affiliate.'

We have worked with Quotatis for approx. 6 months now and they have helped with appointments no end. The customer service side is also excellent as they guide you from start to finish. I love the fact that there is an app you can use to select your appointments. Overall, UK ENERGI's experience with Quoatis has been fantastic and we would highly recommend.

Like L Moran below I thought I was filling out a contact form for a local roofing company, only to realise that I was dealing with Quotatis and that my details were being given out to random roofing firms. Because of this I didn't actually complete the confirmation process but nevertheless still got contacted by two companies.
One of these seems legitimate but the other claimed to know my house and have done work for my neighbour and suggested they arrive to start work with 48 hours, despite not having actually seen the property. He then claimed to have got mixed up over addresses.

Today I have received a request from Quotatis to review the work allegedly completed by this same company when no work has been done and I have have not even requested an estimate from them.
Why are we being misled into filling out personal details on what looks like an individual company website?
And what checks does Quotatis do on the traders it recommends?

Engineers solved a tricky problem re piping route. Left Kitchen clear a tidy as them found it, on arrival. Would recommend the company,& Oliver & Jack to anyone. BW
