I applied to one of the roles they advertised; CTO roles really are, but this was one of those. I applied, then followed up on email. I get it, you get a lot of applications. But, unless you started recruiting yesterday (that you certainly hadn't) you have a way to filter applicants and the least you can do is to respond, even with just a few words.
You know, it helps us feel human.
