We understand how important it is to travel comfortably together, especially when travelling as a couple.

For UK trains like your Glasgow to London journey, seat selection works a bit differently. During booking, you can only choose seat preferences, and the system automatically assigns seats based on availability and those preferences. Unfortunately, specific seat selection isn’t available for these trains, and once the booking is confirmed, the seat allocation can’t be changed.

That said, if your seats aren’t convenient, you can always check for a seat change at the train station before train departure; or with the onboard staff on the day of travel, and they may be able to help with a swap depending on availability.

We appreciate you taking the time to share this, as it helps us improve how we explain this during the booking process.

Need to specifically give directions how to increase the interchange time. Took a long time to find how to do it. Could not find it on your help page and chat was useless.

Couldn’t find a back button when…

Couldn’t find a back button when booking. So every time I wanted to correct something I had to begin the process all over again. Frustrating.

It was very difficult to get the tickets on my phone

It was very difficult to get the tickets on my phone, since they were sent as a pdf in an email. I went on line and asked AI how to do it and they didnt' even know. I finally figured out how to download the app and find my trip on the App. You need to give better instructions on how to do this.

The website alerted me that it was time…

The website alerted me that it was time to buy the ticket and it was available and that process was very quick and easy. I do still have a problem in terms of printing out the ticket. It does not give me a PDF form format to do this.

Our booking system is integrated directly with the reservation systems of the rail carriers. Once the departure and arrival stations are entered, the rail carriers determine the available itineraries and routing options. As there are no direct train services from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport TGV to Lorient, the system suggested what the rail carrier considered to be the best available itinerary at the time of booking.

Your journey included a connection via Lille as well as a transfer between Paris Nord and Paris Montparnasse stations. All connections, transfer points and journey details were displayed in the search results and remained available for review throughout the booking process before the purchase was completed.

We understand that changing stations within Paris can be unfamiliar, particularly for travellers arriving at the airport and continuing their journey by train. To assist customers with such connections, we provide a dedicated Help Centre article explaining how to transfer between Paris stations and the transport options available.

1- the price changed twice in 24 hrs prior to booking.
2- Train service was cancelled 5 minutes after scheduled departure.

The ticket fares displayed on our website are sourced directly from the rail operators' reservation systems, and we do not increase or modify the base fare set by the carrier. These fares can fluctuate based on factors such as demand, seat availability and the carrier's pricing policies. As a result, prices may change between searches and the time a booking is completed.

We are also sorry to learn that your train was cancelled and that you had to purchase a replacement ticket at the station in order to continue your journey. We understand how stressful and inconvenient such disruptions can be, particularly when alternative arrangements need to be made at short notice.

While we facilitate the booking process, train operations and any service disruptions or cancellations are managed by the rail carriers themselves. That said, we can assist customers in submitting refund requests and claims in accordance with the rail carrier's disruption policies. However, we have not yet received a request regarding this cancellation and therefore have not had the opportunity to review your case or assist with a claim.

If you have not already done so, we encourage you to contact our Support Team with your booking details and any supporting documentation relating to the cancellation and replacement ticket. Our agents will be happy to review your case and assist in submitting a claim with the rail carrier where applicable.

Customer service helped ….

Easy to buy tickets but there was an issue with one “print at home ticket”. I emailed for support and the answer came with detailed information on how to get the QR code and how the check in process would work. Very helpful.

It is also worth noting that rail carriers may occasionally offer promotions, loyalty programme discounts, resident fares, or other market-specific offers that are available only through their own direct sales channels and may therefore not be available through third-party distributors such as Rail Europe.

It was OK

It was not terribly difficult, but would have liked to have seat selection as traveling with others who were buying their own tickets. The random assignations are not ideal.
