First choice for reprays
This is my eighteenth respray by Rainbow for my ever expanding collection. Ordered on the 10th and received 12th August. The loco in question is 90039, DBC "Backbone Livery". Such intricate work was carried out and seeing the model up close, is the only way to appreciate the hard work producing such a finish.

Disappointing Receipt
Whilst my order was dealt with in good time, what I received was disappointing. The item was clearly second hand (or had been modified in the shop) although not stated on the website. It was originally a sound fitted version with the chip removed. The accessory bag had been opened and the items loose in the packaging.

Thank you for your feedback. The item you received is new, and the accessory bag was redone as the blanking plate had to be fitted to the locomotive. However, you are correct that we should have made it clear on the listing that the sound had been removed — our apologies for that oversight.

The guys all know there stuff about model railways , if they don’t have the item in stock , they will try their very best to get it for you.
The staff are all warm and friendly , and there is no pressure from them , you can shop at your leisure.
Had a great just over 2hrs spent in the shop , and purchased a few items , prices are reasonable , and the discount helps to .
It certainly is our local model shop , even although it’s a 1hr and 15 minute drive from Ayrshire to Linlithgow.
They have stock from various manufacturers, and prices to suit .
All I can say is keep up the good work chaps , great friendly atmosphere see you all again soon .

£184 bachmann class 90 freightliner orange was £230 ….bargain thank you, so glad to see Rainbow railways doing so well at the minute not forgetting their staff who are so polite not many model shops in England uk have a 110% customer service in my eyes, Rainbow railways are for me at #1 spot with Rails of Sheffield who are local to me, as for postage Rainbow railways are at #1 spot for postage n packaging and tracking, I’ve tried purchasing model trains from elsewhere (the model centre mainly) in last 5years and the staff are so rude yet rainbow railways are like a breath of fresh air and reliable too even received a email from rainbow railways few hours later after i made the order to confirm the tracking number the very same day not to forget the model turned up at mine within 18 hours of making the order
