I placed an order on 28 July, Ralph Lauren Order 7008833860.
From the start since i contacted customer service on Aug 2 till today, i was denied help from anyone to retrieve my parcel and have it sent to a secure location - one of their official stores.
All my requests have gone to deaf ears and now my parcel is missing which means it no longer exists and the probability of it being stolen seems very high.
I was denied an immediate refund of my money held and taken since 28 July because an "investigation" by the same perpetrators had to be conducted.
I am never shopping with them online again and if this is their service, i can skip their overpriced sweatshop country produced merchandise for its low quality every thing.
Never received my order
I order a pair of trainers, they never arrived as it seemed they were lost by the courier. I contact Ralph Lauren who refused to do anything/look into anything or provide me with a full refund. Every time I contacted them they said their systems were down so they couldn’t do anything.
This is the first time I have dealt with this brand directly, I definitely won’t be buying from them again. Really disappointed and a lot of money lost.

When did they start charging £9.95 for standard shipping?!?! That’s absurd amount for standard 5-6 working day delivery. I ordered something from them last time at Christmas and it was free? Very disappointed.
Stinks of old stale perfume
The condition of the skirt I ordered resembled something from the bottom of a jumble sale pile but much worse was the terrible smell of stale/unclean perfume mixed in with it. Clearly it has been worn and not just once . With a 30 day return policy one could get a lot of days wear before returning it, never mind the small labels attached. Honestly I can’t get the smell out of my nose. I tried customer support but like so many other complainants it is a brick wall without even a response from the bots.
I dare not return for a refund as I don’t trust I would be reimbursed the nearly £200 I paid. Hopefully washing it very thoroughly will eventually make me forget this disgusting experience. I feel upset, robbed, incredulous and stupid.

Ralph Lauren Brompton Cross sanctuary for discrimination when you're black. As soon as I arrived a member of staff approached, trying to intimidate me, perhaps sending a clear message that I don't belong there due to the colour of my skin. One of the worst parts was when they sent a woman of Asian background to chase me down the stairs as if I am a thief. She spent all the time harassing me and asking discriminatory questions. In contrast, when a white lady arrived she was polite, attentive and human to her.
They even sent an armed security to track all my movements.
The saddest aspect of it is that they can convince their black staff to discriminate against blacks customers. Worst of the worst.

I was surprised to read so many negative reviews regarding Ralph Lauren. I sent an email about a damaged product and received a response right away. Within three days, I was fully refunded. Very quick response and excellent service. I received amazing treatment, and I’m definitely going to order more from you. Thanks a lot — I love your brand!
A Brand Living Off a Name - Avoid at All Costs
Ralph Lauren has become a textbook case of a brand trading entirely on former glory. The quality of their clothing has plummeted - stitching unravels, fabrics feel cheap, and the fit is all over the place. Yet, absurdly, their prices have inflated as if they’re still offering best-in-class garments.
Worse still is their customer service - a black hole of incompetence. Raise an issue and you’re met with robotic responses, endless delays, and absolutely no resolution. It’s as if their business model now includes ignoring their customers entirely once they’ve taken your money.
This isn’t premium. It’s a facade. A designer label slapped on poor product, sold at a markup that insults your intelligence. I won’t be buying from them again, and I’d advise anyone with even a shred of self-respect to steer well clear.

I really wish I had read the reviews before ordering. I paid for next day delivery but of course the package didn’t arrive, it was five days late, complete waste of £14.95 which is what they charge.
Speaking to customer service they just didn’t care giving me a litany of lies from the courier. When I tried to explain how ludicrous this all was (the excuses changed on a daily basis) the Customer service individual shouted at me and I had to tell him not to raise his voice with me. I’ve never been treated like this before by a customer service department.

I was delivered drinking glasses instead of the shoes I actually ordered, then to be told their warehouse confirms the package was correct and it will have had my shoes in it and they will not refund me my money I’m having to go through my bank to get my money back as Ralph Lauren is refusing to believe I recieved drinking glasses. Another shocking service from Ralph Lauren on line. They take your order, you pay extra to have the items delivered next working day and pay. You then get nothing delivered, you call up at 5.15 and they have gone home, even though it says open untill 5.30. Chat then explain your item is on back order.
This has happened several times in the past. Really not a great service.

Wish I had read reviews before ordering. Returned the most low quality cardboard like trainers. Tracking shows as delivered a week ago. Still no refund. They tell me it hasn’t arrived yet I send a picture of the tracking and then they change their story saying it has an arrived but now it will take 14 days to return to Italy?. I asked for tracking for the further tracking which they did not provide. So effectively I have no idea where my legal property is located and nor do they and of course no refunding me. Stay away. Next stop is trading standards.

Visited the Fenwick mens Ralph Lauren concession to buy a gift but was then put off by the old sales woman with long dark hair who stayed behind the till unprofessionally chewing her gum with such a miserable unwelcoming face of attitude that she did not alnowledge us at all, We decided to leave the concession after browsing, would expect better customer service than what she gave at a designer concession it seems to have gone downhill.
The sales staff on coach and marc jacobs assesories and Charlotte tilbury acknowledged us with smile and we're so welcoming and friendly and they even advised us of the 20% offers on so credit the them ladies.
Very poor service from a luxury brand
First of all I would like to say thanks to James from their customer resolution team, but RL in my opinion is going down hill. Have visited their website on numerous occasions following their repeated emails regarding sales. On every occasion the same things happens you put something in your basket and try to checkout but the item is no longer available. I contacted customer service and they said that it is a website update issue and it is only updated every 24hrs, cannot understand why it knows that your items are not in stock when you try to checkout, but indicates they are in stock on the item page. I personally think it is just a sales ploy to get you on their website so you purchase something you really don’t want or need. They offered me a discount on the same jacket in a different colour but I could not use the discount code I was sent, even though on the website it allowed this. So the item was reduced but it was still 44% dearer that the same jacket in a different colour, also I would have to purchase the item at the higher price and send them the order number so they could do a partial refund but no time scales could be given, looking at the amount of a lack of customer experience on here, it did not seem a good move, they could not even price match their own sale products, laughable really. On another issue some of my tracksuit pants stitching has come away on 2 pairs, both only 12 months old, so it leads me to believe that their quality control is not great. This has led me to rethink why have I shown brand loyalty for over 30 years. Looking at the many1star reviews on here they clearly give the impression that their customers don’t really matter. Maybe when they start to loose so many will they start to take note, until their online purchasing experience improves I will look at RL outlet stores for future purchases. Apart from James efforts to resolve my purchasing issue, they are extremely poor and deserve the 1 star review I am leaving.
Service abysmal
Service not in keeping with the quality expected of a/the "luxury" brand that RL present themselves to be.
Over 2 months ago we (the customer support team) established that the images on the website do not correspond with the products being sent out, they are still wrong, the wrong products are being sent out. So no one cares? Hoping no one bothers the to do a return?
All/every “Customer Support Specialist” appears powerless to actually do any customer support outside a rigid pre-determined process that does not account for customer need/want. I ordered an item, got sent the wrong one because the website is wrong, I still want the original item, no-one can tell me anything useful, is it coming back? When will the website be corrected? Are the correct ones in the warehouse somewhere? RL made the mistake, why do I have to do all the work, because the rigid process cannot comprehend that RL is at fault?
This has been going for over 3 months now (this started mid-January 2025), website still wrong, still no shirt with the blue and white stripped collar and cuffs, after expressing discontent at the service I was offered a 20% voucher, that never appeared.
A considerable amount of the 2 month wait was spent waiting for the website to be updated so that an exchange could be arranged, unfortunately, after waiting weeks (no website update happened and) I was then informed that after looking into it a bit further, I couldn’t exchange because I had paid via PayPal. Did no one notice that ahead of time?
No one cares, I assume they don’t have time to care, the constant churn of closing support tickets. Because my ticket requires some finesse and/or effort, I get fobbed off.
This last response to an inquiry has the entire previous correspondence removed, is this a time saving tactic so that I have to engage in more emails to your support team, grind me down so that I don’t bother?
RL are not the only company that make nice shirts, and the disconnect of the service provided and the brand as it is presented is tragic. When spending from £65-£160 on a shirt I want results, not hollow canned copy-pasted apologies.
The overall impact of this issue reaches further than just RL.com. Both TheSportingLodge.com and Zalando both have the same mislabelled stock, that I have had to do returns with them too. Only Harrods.com have checked and send the correct item to me. After months of comms with RL, I still don't have anything to show for it.

I bought earrings for my daughter’s birthday, she wore them for a couple of hours and on taking them out one of the earrings snapped. Ralph Lauren offered me £25 . The box they came in cost £8 shipping costs £9.95 all for faulty merchandise. I will never purchase anything else from them .

I’ve shopped Ralph Lauren like many reviewers here, for years. I like the style and the quality but the prices are getting quite silly. Moreover, the ‘customer service’ department is absolutely awful. Ralph Lauren’s delivery service of choice is UPS which haven’t delivered to my home for over a year, preferring to leave the parcel directly at a pick up shop without even attempting delivery. I’ve made several complaints to UPS and this time was no different. I received an email with tracking showing that my parcel was yet again at a pick up shop. I went to collect and it wasn’t there. I communicated to RL that I wanted a refund and no longer wanted the dress. They wouldn’t refund and wanted to speak to UPS to deliver. I have waited over two weeks and had no delivery and I’m in constant communication with RL trying to resolve. Today I have been told that they are investigating the matter as several years ago, UPS left my parcel outside my apartments on a main road and I never received it resulting in a refund being paid. So now they don’t want to refund me because they have chosen to use such an unreliable delivery service and are basically insinuating that I am lying. Lovely. Great customer service. I won’t be purchasing at RL again with such abhorrent treatment.

I usually shop at their outlets but what I wanted they didn’t have the colour in the outlet so I ordered a pair of green cargo joggers for £160 from their website and apparently UPS delivered them to my address and left them on the doorstep which is just stupid to do anyway with an item of such value, UPS sent me an email stating they were left there and also a photo but when I got home from work many hours later the package wasn’t there?!?!? UPS apparently try delivery 3 times & then leave parcel with a local collection shop but not on this occasion it seemed… hmmm!
I contacted Ralph Lauren & was promised an email or phone call back by the end of the day but received neither, phoned a couple of days later and was told the same thing and received nothing again. Phoned again & explained my situation and the person sounded like they cared & was going to get back to me 100% with a solution by the end of the day but you guessed it- Nothing once again.
Woke up the next morning with an email from Renise who is a “Customer Service Specialist” apparently saying - “ Based on this confirmation of delivery, we consider the matter closed and we are currently unable to process refunds for items reported as missing, particularly the Missing Items from your order.”
Phoned them again and just got told they can’t do anything because the item has been marked as delivered even though UPS have clearly admitted leaving the parcel outside the property.
Opened up a PayPal case & waited to escalate the case to a claim and supplied them with all the current information and have waited for the amount of time they said to give Ralph Lauren a chance to reply and you guessed it - Nothing from them once again!! But I’ve just got a deserved full refund thanks to PayPal, so glad I paid with PayPal because if I didn’t I would 100% be £160 out of pocket with no item.
Since this has all happened I have returned a £330 jacket & a pair of £130 joggers to the RL outlet store at Bicester village and will never spend money with RL again, I’ve honestly spent thousands with them over the years but never again will they get a penny of mine, they’ve lost a good customer for life.
For such a luxury brand who’s prices have got way out of hand imo their customer services are slack with no care or respect for their customers whatsoever!
Bye RL, I hope you go bust, I’ll be using your old clothes to wash my windows with & will never wear your brand again!

I purchased a air of Ralph Lauren zig zag boots wore them about 6 times ,I started to see large cracks appearing all over the boot uppers .the label in the boot stated leather,but looking at the cracks the boot upper were plastic,I told Ralph Lauren about this and all they were interested in was did I have a receipt not the fact I had been mislead by there labeling ,and thinking I was buying a expensive quantity boot instead I got plastic poor quality item
