I'm happy with their service and…

I'm happy with their service and products.
They only allow 3 packs of water with 6 bottles each when you order online, claiming that we customers must 'think of other customers too', when, in fact, Waitrose should think of all their customers and order more water from Europe, but it's sort of ok.
I'll keep ordering online and have my grocery delivered to my home by them.

Really good service

Really good and prompt service. I've had a few problems, but these are to be expected in this environment. Really grateful for the staff trying very hard to get things right.
Sorry to see Rapid go on the 28th May.

Very disappointed

I've used Waitrose Rapid quite a few times, it was excellent. Then last night the delivery simply didn't arrive. There was no communication about this apart from an email at 23:30 at night to say the order had been cancelled.
So I had no breakfast. I had to get to work early to buy basics from a very expensive local shop.
I was surprised by their reaction, which was completely detached and suggesting I made the order again on a different day, with no recognition of the disadvantage their disorganisation put me to, or a suggestion they might change things.
No proper apology at all.

Fantasic service

I don't know how I would have managed in lockdown without Waitrose Rapid. As I am on their vulnerable list they waive their delivery charge.

I use this once or twice a week. The choice is limited but adequate. Delivery is always on time. To get a delivery within a couple of hours, sometimes barely over one hour, is so useful.

Grateful

I personally love this. Other online grocery servies don't have slots for a week or two. Yes rapid waitrose has limited selection but for me it's more than good enough for food and household essentials, delivered within 1-2 hours. The delivery fee is similar to Ocado.

Really good service for same day…

Really good service for same day delivery, unlike deliveroo they actually have customer service and deal with any issues quickly and politely - you also get to speak to a real person rather than deal with a bot that refuses refunds for undelivered items like deliveroo does. Very efficient and helpful, grateful we can use it while shielding

Not happy about waitrose giving me instore only vouchers during a global pandemic!…

Not happy about Waitrose giving me ,currently, an online click and collect customer , vouchers to be used in-store!! I recently received £6.50 worth of vouchers which must be used by March 31 but can only be used in-store!! As I no longer shop in-store I am unable to use these I asked Waitrose why they were forcing people into store by giving them these vouchers and they said because online demand was heavy --I'm sure it is but I am still able to book a slot within 4 days The reason why I don't shop in-store is because I am 65 and won't have my final vaccine until May 10 by which time the vouchers will have run out!! I have told Waitrose this and have also suggested that they offer vouchers which can be used online or instore ,but of course they don't seem to care --they areonly interested in pushing people into their shops despite the considerable health risks to many groups, in order to get them to see and buy more products thus increasing their considerable profits Yes they do have social distancing instore but it is not enforced in any way and many people don't follow these rules

I have been grateful for rapid Waitrose…

I have been grateful for rapid Waitrose as I was unable to get a slot on Waitrose.com that was not 2 weeks in advance although I am classed as vulnerable. But I recently ordered hot smoked boneless mackerel as the boned smoked mackerel I prefer was not available. I found it dry and chewy to eat and it gave me a stomach ache. It’s more expensive than the unboned one and I never want it again

Awful

Awful. Placed order for an “ASAP” delivery at 15.11 which it stated would be by 17.11. Email received at 15.42 stating order has been packed and provided a tracking map. 17.20 map still shows waiting for pick up. Call the number and the agent said she has forced through a pick up and will update in 5 mins. 40 mins later still no sign so called back. Agent put me on hold and said the driver eta to the supermarket was 3 minutes. At 18.30 still no sign so call back and the agent said the supermarket closed at 18.00 so will have to cancel the order. She advised me that weekends are busy so try and not use the rapid delivery.

Poor technology, poor logistics and poor customer service.

The whole point is to offer convenience. I spent half the time speaking with their agents.

Waitrose - get a grip.

Great service from Waitrose Enfield

Great service from Waitrose Enfield

They delivered my order in double quick time, everything was in order and my eggs survived the journey. The item was well packed and person whom pack my order kindly separated the fragile stuff from then stuff that it better packed.

Always a great service from Waitrose and Great handoff from the delivery driver from Stuart who deliver for Waitrose.

Bad service

Bad service. I couldn't get the express delivery as the service wasn't available, earliest slot was in 5hours time. Order packed and picked but no courier available. They don't contact you to tell you that it won't be delivered within the booked slot and there is no ability to find out if and when they might ever deliver - the courier won't provide any indication. For people who are self isolating but are not in a vulnerable category this kind of offering is perfect give its impossible to get a normal shopping slot at any of the large supermarkets. It's just a shame that their execution falls short.

Have tried three times

Have tried three times. First time was great, 2nd time order was cancelled mysteriously - they did redeliver and refund me, which is excellent, however I needed the food not a refund. 3rd time, message to say my food had been delivered when it hadn't. Website is down so I have no way to contact them.

Scam due to greed

This service I have been using minimally 5 times a week since it started and was constantly promoting. This was a superb service when it delivered as per the concept, SAME day delivery. Since my constant promotion of the service the subscribers have increased & I cannot get the same day service. When a company cannot deliver its concept this becomes another scam company who once they get known do not share loyalty to their customers.

The delivery is good everything was fantastic until they got greedy took on more subscribers then you can deal with

I was somewhat worried when I checked…

I was somewhat worried when I checked Trustpilot for this company- all the reviews below were one star- but my order went brilliantly.
I chose express delivery- within two hours of ordering. It arrived well on time- one hour before, in fact. It would take me longer to get to the store and do my own shopping.
All items accounted for, well within the sell by date and well packed- separated for cross contamination in paper bags and delivered in a thermic bag.
You can track your order from the moment you make the payment- including a very helpful map showing the rider from the moment they are allocated your order. I knew he was arriving just my looking at the map and then at the window.
Superb.
Cannot fault the service and highly recommend. I will certainly use this service again.

Utter rubbish

Ordered at 11am, cancelled at 4pm. do not use

Ordered at 11am, order was accepted, intended delivery at 7pm the same day. At 4pm waitrose cancelled my order, i rang up to ask why, they just said they were to busy and to try again tomorrow.

Terrible customer service and experience. 0/10

Will never use again

I used this service thinking it will be the same high standards from Waitrose. I doesn’t even come close. It’s a MESS!

I really advise those of you who may be willing to part with £5 for a delivery charge to use this elsewhere. It was a mess of a delivery try choice. My order was meant to arrive by 1pm today. I’ve had two different deliveroo drivers order my items. Half of the order of still missing and it’s now 4pm. Great work Waitrose!

Ordered yesterday and it didn't arrive…

Ordered yesterday and it didn't arrive and website didn't give me any information. Order was automaticaly cancelled, so placed another order this morning and whoosh it arrived within an hour! I'm so happy. This is amazing, as we're isolating and it's much better than asking a friend who has to wonder what to do if there isn't any brocolli in stock and worry about going to another supermarket, when you'd be happy with a substitute. wicked service, highly recommend. communication on website could be improved so it was clear that yesterday's order wasn't going to be despatched. otherwise AMAZING... LOVE IT.
