RARA Driving School Reviews 

This a review from a road user, who was stuck behind a student on a test when the examiner took them onto a long stretch of 60 mph road and they drove steadily at 30 mph only. A build up of traffic formed behind me and the car behind me, overtook me and the examiner across bold white lines. It’s unacceptable for an examiner to allow such slow driving in a higher speed area and they should well know that causing other drivers to behave in a manner they wouldn’t normally, results in an instant fail. I’ve reported this to RaRa, but they stand by their decision that the driving was done safely and in accordance with DVSA standards.

I've been grateful to meet Abdul through RARA driving school's website. I 'd learnt the lesson and it's always according to my time availability. Although I know he was a busy guy. He taught me many different routes and new routes. I recommend for beginners driver or people wanting to learn how to drive and to pass the driving test because I passed after my lesson.

Before we used RARA Driving School my daughter had failed 4 times. We booked a one week intensive course with RARA and Kamran didn't just show her what to do he taught her why. She didn't just learn how to drive she learnt to understand. I could see the improvement almost daily. She got one of the hardest examiners she could get for her test and sailed through and passed. I can not recommend Ahmed at RARA and Kamran enough. Professional and courteous, thank you!

I passed my test today in first attempt and i’m very delighted . My instructor Sir Hamid from RARA driving school taught me driving from beginning till end, He has been very professional and friendly throughout this experience. He always structured my lesson according to my need and was always keen on encouraging my confidence which helped to a great extent in my test .

I have been trained by other instructor but due to last minute things had to approach RARA a week before my driving test and by then a lot things pending to be ready for the test. I got Hamid's contact and just within 2 classes he got me ready for the test and I passed for the first time with his experienced tips and tricks. Thank you Hamid.

I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with RARA Driving School and my brilliant instructor Hamid Sherazi. From the outset RARA were willing to accept my unusual request which was to do a 40 hour intensive two-week course with a test directly after as many driving schools were not. I chose this method due to time constraints and other obligations, and from the beginning, Hamid worked with me to fully and comprehensively cover the course content and skills mastery to pass by my test date. Hamid is a first class teacher and taught me with patience, targeting my areas for development day by day and giving clear and specific feedback. He is also just an all-round great person; I really enjoyed my time learning with Hamid. I would STRONGLY recommend anyone to learn with Hamid at RARA Driving School. The best testament to how good an instructor he is, is that he took me from a beginner to first-time-pass in just TWO WEEKS - the incredible results there speak for themselves.

There are instructors and there are those born to make a change. Hamid is one of them. After failing 2 times I reached out to Rara Driving School and I was asked to contact Hamid. He took his time to teach me. His patience is second to none, very calm, and he always has a way of bringing that tension down.

I’ve been behind the wheel for a while, but getting my British licence was a whole different journey and I couldn’t have done it without Hamid. I’ve made plenty of silly mistakes along the way the kind that would’ve made most people lose patience but Hamid never did. He’d always look at me, smile, and say, “Come on, let’s go again.” He believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. I also want to mention Ahmed, another instructor from the same school, who is equally a gem of a person. He kindly offered to do mock tests with me to help prepare for the real thing and give me a proper feel for how the actual test would go. His help and encouragement made a massive difference in my confidence and performance.

If you’re looking for a trusted, professional, and genuinely caring driving school this is the place. And if you’re lucky enough to get Hamid or Ahmed as your instructor, you are in the safest, most capable hands imaginable.

I honestly cannot thank Afzal Ahmed from RARA Driving School enough for helping me pass my driving test on my very first attempt! From my very first lesson, Afzal stood out as a calm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable instructor who genuinely cares about his students’ progress and confidence.

What makes Afzal different from so many other instructors is his ability to adapt his teaching style to suit you personally. He always made sure I understood why I was doing something, not just how, which gave me so much more confidence behind the wheel. He has a brilliant way of explaining things that makes even the most complicated manoeuvres feel manageable. Parallel parking and reversing around corners, which I used to dread, soon became second nature thanks to his clear and supportive guidance.

Afzal was always punctual, professional, and made every lesson feel productive. He kept a calm, positive atmosphere in the car at all times—even when I made mistakes. He never once raised his voice or made me feel bad; instead, he used each moment as a learning opportunity. That kind of encouragement made a massive difference to my confidence, especially in the early stages of learning.

His knowledge of the test routes and local areas was also a huge help. We practised on a variety of roads, including dual carriageways, roundabouts, residential areas, and tricky junctions. By the time my test came around, I felt fully prepared for anything. Afzal had taught me not just how to pass the test, but how to be a safe, responsible, and confident driver for life.

One thing I also appreciated was how honest and transparent he was throughout my learning. He never tried to stretch out lessons unnecessarily. When he knew I was ready, he told me—and he was absolutely right. Thanks to him, I passed first time and feel genuinely comfortable driving on my own now.

RARA driving school, if anyone wants to learn manual car then join with instructor Afzal Ahmed and if wants to learn automatic then join with instructor Hamid sherazi .

I had a 12hours lessons with Hamid Sherazi( a great trainer) he is a great gentleman, a great trainer and he can understand driving perfectly. I had my lessons and l passed at once.
