  1. Import Export Company

Written by the company

The Rare Plant Scout (RPS) sources tropical aroids and other rare plants directly from a network of vetted growers, cutting out middlemen and keeping plants healthier through fewer handling stages. The focus is on Monstera, Anthurium, Philodendron, and Alocasia varieties for UK collectors and growers. RPS is run solo by its founder, who has five years of experience in the rare plant trade and a background in botany and plant science. Every plant is checked for quality and accuracy before listing, and RPS holds UK Plant Passport issuing authority, meeting official import and biosecurity standards. Sales run through the RPS Shopify store and scheduled drops rather than constant restocking, so buyers can plan around release dates. The business is registered as a UK limited company and trades at rareplantscout.com.
