Took a little longer than anticipated but I didnt actually do anything besides let them take pictures, they did the rest themselves without me so atleast it was a simple process and I probably would use them again.

They told me the delay was on the VOA side as that is who they wait for the decision from.

Recommended for professionalism and speed of reduction alone. Didn't encounter any issues contacting them either.

Fixed reduction now set in stone with a great amount saved allowing that money to be invested elsewhere.

The process was as quick as expected a few photos here and there, a contract to sign and pay then the wait which was only 4-5 months. Reduction was accepted and now i'm a part of the reduced business rates teams. Thanks guys.

Absolute SCAM! They have done nothing, absolutely nothing. Fraudulently claiming to be RICS registered, VOA have not heard of them in relation to our property. Took the money and ran! Avoid!

They are a complete scam with most of their positive reviews fake
They will hound you for initial payment & then you won't see or hear from them again,they will NOT return your calls & tell you packs of lies

Would leave no stars if option was available. Did absolutely nothing. Rates weren't reduced.

Read the whole contract and agreed to pay when the reduction application was submitted which was agreed. I paid the £900 the next working day and my appeal was accepted by the VOA within 4 weeks. It takes 3 months to get that £900 back through the reductions but then its £300 profit per month so win win.

3 Months from start to reduction. Couldnt be happier. I thought the intial fee was a bit high but after receiving my reduction, it was worth every penny.

Rates and Rental Surveyrors Limited and Nicolas Brown dragged us to court earlier in the year. We represented ourselves and won!
Their case was floored as we were able to prove misrepresentation; as what was promised in terms of business rate savings could never have been achieved. Furthermore this was supported by the vast number of negative reviews, as well as the fake positive reviews, the fake business address, fake case studies, lack of genuine paperwork and when asked what the initial payment was for they were unable to give a credible answer, stating it was for the submission to the valuation office and a database..... on investigation the submission takes 10 minutes to complete and we still don't know what data base this was!!! as everyone's business rates are available online. In the end the judge lost his patience and saw straight through this company!
In the end, although the legal threats etc are terrible, stay strong and if needed, let them take you to court. Use all of the evidence including online reviews and any judge will understand what's going on. STAY STRONG!

Back in May this year, Jurgan called and promised us that he could get our rates reduced. We signed the contract, (thankfully didn't part with any money) and he said that he would arrange a surveyer if he thought we had a case. We then checked with our Council who said we could sort this all out ourselves, so when R&R rang back to arrange a surveyor visit we told them to cancel as we didn't want to proceed. We were then invoiced over £1000! They hadn't done any work! We refused to pay and had emails back and forth and then it went quiet. Until now that is, they have now got a company called Shoosmiths chasing us for payment within 7 days or they will be taking us to court! So if anyone is arranging a 'class action' against these scammers I would love to join.

Appalling service, DONT TOUCH THEM, they are a scam. Took my money but never contacted me nor replied to the huge number of calls, emails and messages I made and left at their door, in 18 months. Come the Rates review, after promising to get at least 2010-2015 lowered (I had already checked this one out myself and I had indeed paid too much so could get a refund.. no idea who I called about that now!) , would get the 2015-20 down if they win the appeal and also 2022. Constant calling gave me no update,whoever does answer the phone, is oh so keen to help and is shocked no one has called you back but then... does neither himself. Now received a letter, addressed to me by my first name (how bloody rude!), saying there is nothing to be done. Bye! BLOODY SCAMMERS praying on small businesses/sole distributors. I could not afford the £550+ then but the results were worth it... I cannot afford to have lost it now either but no idea how to get it back as they wont even answer to any communication at all. DO NOT TOUCH THEM

A reduction of £65 per month and a yearly reduction of 780 means within 2 years I will have made my money back and be making a nice return.

Pre-agreed on expected discount amount which was the same amount of reduction I got from the VOA. Thanks for the reduction and see you again in a few years.

My business rates have plagued me since I got this premises. I did a manual calulation of what to expect before I moved in and the actual cost is far different! I got rates and rental involved and they got the rates reduced inline with what I had actually calculated myself. Worth the money and happy to recommend them

Great service with a smile. From applying through their website to getting a reduction in 8 weeks, couldn't have asked for more.

Suspicious Company! They never answer emails - Very rude! Quick enough to take and cash the cheque though!!
Don't bother with them - There are plenty of other more reputable companies that can do the same job a million times better!!!
Credit Safe makes for interesting reading - Two of the directors from rates and rentals have just incorporated a new Limited company called - Check Challenge Appeal Limited - So beware of this one as well!!

Get shocking service!
I am at Saffron Solicitors in Birmingham and we used Rates and Rental Surveyors Limited.
Ditto everything that has been said by the dis-satisfied. Wish there was a way that we, as a group, could get together and start a legal class action against the Directors.
Anyone interested in putting together a list of people, who want their money back and we all take legal action as one group? I'm in for starters.

The most diabolical horrid and rude staff your'll ever deal with!!! 'Roger' not only refused to provide his full name, but told me - and I quote - 'go away and research the company, then ask my head office for it'. If I could swear right now I would. My husband, on the other hand, is a very sweet, well mannered gentle sole who is an easy target for con man. To be fair they did manage to get him to sign to some scrap of paper somewhere, although they left him no copy on the day, claiming to forward the contract on via email. This never came. This was through a man called 'Peter'. Then, a week later, 'Roger' calls to announce they will be in the next morning to collect their fee of £795. Needless to say I gave Dodgy Rodger a call back, only to be met with utter rubbish. He tried to talk down to me, then talk over me, and then when that failed he spouted tonnes of rubbish about the reputable company he worked worked. Finally the old 'You're off to court madam', routine came out. Ha ha!!!! Make my day sunshine. I will relish the chance to take this one to the ombudsman and which ever court wants to listen. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE avoid this shoddy excuse of a company, even if you are fortunate enough to receive a reduction, remember there are many others out there who can do the same thing - MUCH BETTER and more professionally. As for parting with any money? Yeah that ship sailed when I read the zillions of other angry customers who felt they too had received a poor and unprofessional service. In fact after so many horror stories - why is this business allowed to keep trading? These reviews have done nothing to alter my view that this is a scam, in its purest form. Fake promises, no paperwork, aggression tactics and threats of financial liability. Nothing irritates me more some aggressive stranger over the phone THREATENING COURT ACTION. People please remember a threat of court action is a long way off actual court action. It's too damn easy for others to pick on the conscientious business owner. These people are shameless and I sincerely hope that more potential customers read their customer reviews first before becoming involved.
