WORST CREDIT CARD & CUSTOMER SERVICE – STAY AWAY!
RBL CREDIT CARD IS THE WORST FINANCIAL MISTAKE YOU CAN MAKE. Their CUSTOMER CARE IS A JOKE—you’re stuck talking to an IVR FOR 20 MINUTES JUST TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON.
They SLAP HIDDEN CHARGES on your account WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE, and their APP CONVENIENTLY HIDES PENDING DUES, so you only find out when they start HARASSING YOU WITH PENALTIES. They NEVER CALL OR INFORM YOU about any outstanding amount, but the moment it PILES UP WITH LATE FEES, they magically appear DEMANDING PAYMENTS.
AVOID RBL AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU ENJOY FRAUDULENT CHARGES, ZERO TRANSPARENCY, AND THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!

Extremely poor service

I am happy to give u negative star rating if possible. Even after foreclosure of the loan, the bank does not deliver the original property documents on time. Because of which we did not get money from the buyers bank. This has derailed my payment cycle. The customer service is insensitive to customers needs and are incompetent, irresponsible esp Mr Riteish Shah and Rahul fro. Loan department

In December 2024

In December 2024, I paid my RBL Credit Card Bill before the due date, 2 days before. Still, RBL people blocked the card and forwarded my Number to a collection agency for recovery.

When I called RBL they said that I should have paid at least 3 days before the due date because our systems are slow in updating, hence your case was escalated to a collection agency and blocked your card.

The important thing to know is, they have done this to a trusted customer of 10 years with an impeccable record of payments. I don't know what they must be doing to everyone else.

Thankfully no one came to my home, but my card was blocked for a long time and still, there is some problem with the card, which RBL failed to correct.

As a result, I have decided not to use the RBL card and create awareness of this incident. I hope there was a lower rating than 1.

If there are negative marks I will give. I am a professional and hold an account unfortunately with this third rate bank. I have tolerated their investment bankers as I monitor. However today I used their credit card at a shop for 10,290. The card was declined. I called to find out. The moron these beggars hire on customer service told me my account was debited. He then said.. hold your breath.. that the merchant will have to wait ten days for payment 😂😂😂. I asked to stop payment , he REFUSED. His name is Gaurav. I then gave up my shopping and told Gaurav I will file a complaint with RBI. I feel this third rate bank should be shut down. They survive on glib talking and are totally inefficient. I am an HNI and have never seen a bank like this.

Worst bank for NRIs

Worst bank for NRIs. They have put my account on dormancy and asked for re-kyc. I have been trying to remove the dormancy by providing all the documents and visiting branch since 6 months now and they keep adding new requirements on each communication. Ms Ashwini and Ms Siddhi are trying to deliberately making it difficult for me. My other 2 banks also did re-kyc and I provided the same documents to them and it was completed in less than 2 weeks. Avoid this bank at all cost especially if you are an NRI. They are small for a reason.

trying to close my account for a year

I have been trying to close my account for almost a year now. All i get is we are looking into your query and then there is no response. I have filled up the form to close thrice now and still there is no action.My account was frozen by bank in the very first month when I opened it in January 2024. I applied to close it on 26th Mar 2024. The nearest branch sent the papers to my home branch and the home branch misplaced the papers and said they did not receive it. the number provided on google to contact is not correct. Emails they dont even check. The irresponsible and Unprofessional behaviour bothered me to this level because i had to sacrifice my sleep and pay almost 1000 bucks for one visit to nearest branch thrice. I would never even think about this bank in my dreams if my account is closed.
