Such banks can only be fought by NO PURCHASES or NO APPLICATION for CREDIT CARDS or LOANS.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from RBL Bank credit cards and loans. The bank engages in unfair and misleading practices that cause unnecessary harassment to customers.

My experience I would like to share – Even after clearing all dues and paying the so-called pre-closure charges, they continued to show false outstanding amounts. The charges levied were unexplained, arbitrary, and kept changing every time — they always came back with some new amount to pay. Despite paying more than what was asked, they still refused to close the credit card account, keeping customers trapped and mentally harassed.

To make matters worse, RBL Bank Credit Card Department also reported "negative repayment behaviour" to other financial institutions, which directly damaged my CIBIL score and credit history. This means their unfair practices can harm your chances of getting loans or credit cards from other banks as well.

After filing a consumer complaint, the bank finally closed my EMI and proceeded with the credit card closure. Their personnel even called me, assuring that the interest charged would be reversed and the excess payment of around ₹5,600 would be refunded. The consumer complaint was then marked as closed on the basis of this call recording and an email confirming the reversal of interest and card closure. However, till date, no refund has been provided.

This is not just poor service – it is a deliberate attempt to exploit customers through false charges and intimidation. No bank should make something as simple as card closure such a painful and never-ending struggle.

If you currently have an active RBL Bank credit card, I strongly suggest you close it immediately to protect yourself from future harassment and damage to your credit score. Such banks can only be fought by ensuring that no customer purchases or applies for credit cards from them.

I’ve been trying to get my API…

I’ve been trying to get my API activated for over a month now, and the experience has been nothing short of exhausting and unacceptable. Every few days, there’s a new demand for documentation — despite fulfilling all requirements two weeks ago. Yet, there is still no progress.

What’s worse is the complete lack of accountability and response from the concerned bank staff, especially the manager, who refuses to respond to calls or messages. I’ve followed up consistently, only to be ignored and left hanging without any clarity.

This kind of negligence and poor service is not only unprofessional but also deeply frustrating. I expected better from your institution, but clearly, customer support and efficiency are not priorities.

Please treat this matter as urgent and resolve it without any further delay

I have been customer for 5 years

I have been customer for 5 years. This time due to the technical problem of the bank the payment made to the cash loan was credited to the credit card account. I raised complaint, the CS person told that technical problem from bank side and he said that the amount will be transferred to the loan account. But not transferred the amount. As soon as the due date is passed the harassment started from the telecallers for payment of dues, which were already paid but due the bank problem I faced the harassment. I raised complaint again and the complaint closed with out contacting me and without any resolution. I have paid amount again to avoid the harassment.
Due to which I faced mental problem and this will impact my credit score also.
Even without the delay from my side and due to the bank problem I have faced this problem and there is no response from the bank side.
There is no email address or customer service phone number to explain my problem and only chat boat / IVR is available which did not solve my problem.
Due to this my hard earned money of more than 26000 lying in the credit card account with out any use.

Total scam bank! I’ve been paying ₹3000 every month to RBL credit card , yet my principal hasn’t gone down at all — only interest and extra charges are shown.

And if you miss a payment? Be ready to pay ₹3000 as a late payment fee — absolutely ridiculous!

Their system is designed to trap you in debt. Customer care? Completely useless.

Please DO NOT take a loan or credit card from RBL Bank, even if you’re in an emergency. It’s a third-class bank that only knows how to loot customers.

Worst experience ever. Stay far away from RBL.

How Can a Bank Operate Like This?

This is the worst banking service in the world. They don’t have branches anywhere nearby, and even for simple requests like changing an address or changing email ID, they are required to visit the nearest branch — which is over 350 km away. Their customer care is also highly unresponsive and unhelpful people are setting.

i wish i could them negative review, but i am afraid i can't, this is the worst bank in the the whole universe, customer service is pathetic, their IVR system sucs like hell. you would never ever get connected to anyone. if you are lucky to get one but don't be happy then as they are going to dump you in their IVR system which would never get cleared in this birth as their IVR system is absolutely ridiculous and you won't able to go through its security. my one line advise would be to change your banking with some other bank to get little peace of mind. all the best....

Disappointed with Hidden Charges and Unjust Deductions

I am extremely disappointed with my experience using the RBL Bank Credit Card. Despite being cautious with my spending, I noticed that unnecessary and unexplained amounts were deducted from my account. These include hidden charges and fees that were never properly communicated at the time of issuance or during usage.

It feels like the bank is engaging in unfair practices, and getting any kind of clarity or resolution from customer care is frustrating and time-consuming. I believe this borders on fraud, especially when deductions are made without prior notice or justification.

I strongly advise others to double-check every charge and think twice before signing up for an RBL credit card. Transparency and trust are the basics of banking — and sadly, I didn’t find either in this experience.

RBL Bank is a fraud brank,robbing indian public

I been fighting with RBL Bank for some unauthorised transactions that happened on RBL issued credit card.I promptly reported the matter within half an hour to the bank with subsequent report to Regional Cybercrime cell but of no use .I call customer care plenty of time and mailed them all the relevant proofs and documents.They told me there it will take 90days to investigate the matter.After 90 days they authorise all the disputed transactions with a remark that all transactions were executed thru NFC vis otp shared by me .All the transaction were realised under some Shushila Devi at allahabad while I was in Chandigarh.I then files my plea at RBI ombudsman which is another useless step they pass on the verdict on the shere communication of RBL Bank and didn’t even bother to ask for my query and justifications

NO TRANSACTIONS REFERENCE NO WER DISCLOSED BY RBL and even RBI

As per RBI guidelines I reported the matter of fraud within half an hour to RBL and within 2 hours to Cyber Crime department.But still I’m running around to get justice without any support from any govt financial setup .After all the anguish I filed a civil suite against RBL Bank .Let’s see what will happen .My advice to. My countrymen never entertain any person do business with RBL Bank.IT IS A BIGGGGGG FRAUD

I have NRE Account with RBL which has…

I have NRE Account with RBL which has become dormant. After spending hefty amount to certify my documents and sending all the documents to the RBL bank, my account is still dormant and it's been more than 6 months since I am chasing them and now they are asking me to upload those documents. However, I don't have access to my account how will I be able to upload the documents. My funds are lying in the account and they are not helping me. Worst bank experience I have ever had.
