Table & bench delivered today - so happy, looks even better than on the website. The quality, service, down to delivery driver today has been amazing

I purchased a Reclaimed Industrial 4 Seater Chic Tall Poseur Wood & Metal Bar Table from RCC furniture in September 2024 for £279.99, £50.00 of that was for delivery.
The product was damaged on delivery, with splintered wood but a quick call by the driver to the owner agreed a technician would come to the property to 'fix' the issue. Having chased the company on the phone and via email a driver came with an electric sander and a rag and some wood stain, the repair is basic to say the least. Now 3 months after delivery the legs of the product have gone rusty in multiple places. I once again contacted the company and was shocked to be told this is normal. So normal in fact, that I am informed I should have read the furniture care instructions that arrived with multiple documents including delivery details months before the product arrived.
The document states the following:-

"Majority of our bases are made from mild steel. The standard finish of the steel is unfinished which gives it a
raw appearance. In this state the furniture is to be only be used indoors. We suggest cleaning the steel with
WD-40 once every 3-6 months, this is will also prevent rust spots appearing.
Please make sure not mop around the base frames as water will sit under the steel and cause rusting which
can cause damage to flooring"

I find this incredible for an indoor dining table, I have provided the company with multiple pictures of the dining bar which is rusted to the point it can not now stay in the kitchen after only 3 months. WD40 is not an interior cleaning product and as I also have pets in the home I do not want them being exposed to this or indeed the added possibility that if the rust does not mark my flooring the WD40 will.

It does not highlight any need to read the furniture care information at that time and as this was sent in Sept, the product was not arriving until Oct I was not in a rush to read what I imagined would be straight forward care information.

Further more your sales page dosn't mention anything about the needs of raw steel although it does highlight the condition of the wood.

The fact remains the product is rusty and is not suitable for dining at as is suggested in the pictures you have on your website. The surface has been eaten by the rust after 12.5 weeks, I can only imagine how it will look after a few years.

So yes my 1 star review will stand as I now have a 3 month old rusty table that I can neither use or sell or indeed any charity is likely to want.

If your getting one that's quite chunky have at least 2 other people at hand to lend a hand. Quite heavy.

Ordered a custom table both the size and style of the base - the team were very accommodating and the product we received is excellent, we are extremely happy with it! The delivery took slightly longer than the originally expected 8 weeks, but given the quality of the product for the price it was well worth the wait! Thank you RCC - I will be ordering some more bits soon!

So delighted with our beautiful furniture. This is exactly what we were looking for, beautifully made and so much sturdier than furniture you see in most high street shops. Looks amazing in our dining room.

NOT KNOCKING THE QUALITY, BUT FOR THE MONEY I WOULD HAVE LIKED WHAT I ORDERED

Desk arrived today, and it is so much more lovely than expected. A friend recommended the company and I ordered online without going to the showroom. Lead time was around 3 months, that was communicated when I placed the order and paid, and it was worth the wait. I got an email a week before delivery to confirm the date and follow up emails were answered quickly. I expected an uneven desk-top, and drawers with the usual flat pack cardboard bottoms. Wrong. The desk has been capably sanded flat (with the expected minor pitting etc in the wood) and oiled as described. It's a perfect working surface for my computer stuff. The drawers are solid and heavy, fit perfectly and no flimsy bottoms in sight! Delivery was completed by a very capable and patient driver. I had a call half an hour before delivery and the driver took time to measure my doors, removed and re-attach the frame, made sure I was happy with the product. Fantastic experience, I'm now looking at the rest of my furniture and wondering if I can replace any of it with more from this company.

The table was stunning and the chairs too. Beautiful reclaimed wood dining table complete with rustic character . Chairs were lush and colourful. Communication with company via email was helpful and informative. Delivery man was so helpful too. On every level great product, great customer service, great delivery.

Amazing service at RCC, we had our own measurements and asked RCC to make a dining table, bench, coffee table, and tv unit all to our requirements.
When we received the email to say they are being delivered, it did say to make sure an able bodied person is available to help with carrying / lifting, however, I’d just found out I was pregnant. I messaged RCC and they kindly arranged for a 2 man delivery at no extra charge!
The furniture came and it looks incredible. We are so so pleased with it and would highly recommend.

I ordered our dream table from RCC in April 2024 and it was delivered in June 2024 which was the lead time I was told, I had no issues with this. However, the table arrived with chips in the woodwork, I appreciate that the table is rustic and will not be “perfect” - this is the reason I chose it. But to be left with chips which have clearly been made once the table was finished is not good enough after spending over £700. So I got in contact with the company and sent photos through, they offered two options: a repair kit or an engineer which takes another 4 weeks to arrange and this meant somebody needed to be at home to deal with the engineer. I therefore opted for the repair kit. The kit arrived without any instructions on the best way to use it, so I had to email again to ask how to get the best results using the repair kit. The response I got was simple and evasive. Now after having the table for 1 month the steel work underneath (legs) has started to rust, when you are sat at the table you get orange rust on your clothes. This just isn’t good enough. Even though I like my table I would not buy from or recommend this company. Throughout all of this I have not once been offered some money back considering the product I received was not as described. Very poor.

We absolutely love our table, bench & shelves from RCC furniture. They were delivered in the stated time, we were kept informed whilst we were waiting for our order, and when it arrived we were really, really happy. We have had so many compliments, and recommended to our friends too.
The furniture looks great in our room & we wouldn’t hesitate to order from RCC again.

Ordered our bespoke table on 6th March and it arrived yesterday. Absolutely gorgeous - just what we wanted/ordered. Quality is brilliant.

The company were informative during the ordering process, quick to make the table and courteous with confirmation of delivery.

The table is of incredible quality and it's rustic look suits our home perfectly. We can't think of having any other table in the space.

I ordered a shelving unit online over 3 months ago, and I'm still waiting for it. The customer service, and communication from them has been extremely bad throughout the process. They never, ever answer the phone, regardless of the time of day, and they only respond to emails after multiple attempts, and if you are fortunate enough to get a response, it's generally after a few days.
Spending £700 and not getting any updates, communication nor responses to queries and enquiries is no acceptable in my opinion. I also feel that having to wait months for a piece of furniture is way too long.
They've left a voicemail today asking me to get in touch with them to confirm delivery on Saturday, but if only I could!!
I will never use the company again after this experience, and I certainly wouldn't recommend them.
