I wanted to find a beautiful plantpot as a gift. I found the perfect one, beautiful and looked even better when it arrived than in the photos.

Postage exorbitant, slow service and daft price £6 !!
Packaging - Rebel employ people to pack and I bet they nthink their packing is Superb. In fact it's a real mess. Someone thinks that strong adhesive tape is a goood idea. It isn't - because they wrap plastic around the plants, which is then firnly stuck with afdhesive tape that is so hard to remove, risking the plant in the process. THEN to compound the mess, they stick the plant to the box carton very securelty - severely actually. This then makes plant damage likely with the frustration of trying to detach plant from box. REALLY this is diiisastrous -- they need to send some plants to themselves and have panel of people try to unwrap, and then measure the damage dne to plant, scissors, knife, and mental frustration. Dont buy from them it's amateuris masking itself as "clever proficient superior" It's none of those things

Clear notification during the despatch and delivery process. The plant arrived in excellent condition, very well wrapped. No spillage of the earth, soil was still slightly damp. I was excited to add it to my collection. I will not hesitate to order again from Rebel Plants.

Hi! This is going to be long.

I have ordered from Rebel Plants multiple times now. First when I was looking to get Alocasia Black Velvet and was stunned to find out how close is a pick up spot to me (in London OMG), second for my Hoya Flamingo Dream (she has been a dream indeed, grows well pretty much like she would have rent to pay up). I also got a rescue box a month ago (all plants sans one still alive and thriving!!!!!).
And now I got my order today. I basically ordered another rescue box for pick up. Then I remembered I wanted to order Birkin Pink ordered it and accidentally pressed shipping to my home. I was too embarrassed to go back and chase company to correct my boo boo. But hey! This has a brilliant turn out. Izzy reached out to me on Sunday (yesterday) mentioning that she noticed the discrepancy and giving me an option to get it all delivered or for a pick up. I know companies (I am accident prone I admit) which really wouldn’t bother. She really went above and beyond for me - and I really didn’t expect it at all. (Whoever is in charge of that company please give her a bonus) Box itself besides Philonendron Birkin Pink (which had the hugest leaves I have seen on this plant) contained 4 other plants. El Choco, Hoya Compacta, Maranta and another Black Velvet. Two look like they had past with pests. One minuscule damage if you stare at it and squint. And Black Velvet clearly didn’t grow as quickly as to company standards (I know because I got my OG one). Super excited about my rescues. And very happy return guest here :) Also they do learn on feedback (I mentioned in my OG review that it would be lovely to know what plants I got and on this occasion Izzy emailed me with that information when she was doing a follow up. Brilliant)

I bought a cactus from Rebel Plants that arrived in a pot far too small for a plant of that size. The cactus hasn't been cared for properly as the tips of the stems are darker and shriveled looking compared to the rest of it and are also translucent. A part of the stem has also broke off and the soil was bone dry and powdery.

They refused to accept there was any issue with the plant and said "we belive the plant to be healthy when it was sent" despite the many pictures I sent them.

I requested a refund and was told there is nothing wrong with the plant but they would give me a 10% refund which isn't suitable as if I'm to try and save the plant I will need to buy a bigger pot and cactus soil which leaves me out of pocket. Not to mention the cactus is scarred in several places. A little scarring I could accept but not as much as there is on this plant.

They've said I can return the plant for a full refund but I'm responsible for the postage costs which I disagree with because why should I have to pay to return something sub par?

I'll be glad to have returned the cactus and get my money back so I can forget Rebel Plants exist.

It will be my first and last experience with Rebel Plants.

I've been reading the negative reviews for Rebel Plants and their responses to the negative reviews which sound very childish and petulant and almost "it's your fault, not mine" that alone means I'd never want to buy from them again. No doubt they'll reply to this review with some sort of defensive, stubborn response. Not a way to provide customer service at all.

I ordered a plant pot from Rebel Plants via etsy. I'd been looking for a plant pot with a saucer for ages. Tried loads of garden centres and couldn't find what I wanted. Should have gone to the internet sooner! My basil plant is thriving. Fast delivery and good communications from them too.
