I ordered my pistol online on Saturday night and picked it up at my FFL on Thursday morning. Recoil's price was $40 less than all other shops I checked out (including the one I buy most of my guns from) and they also gave me free shipping. I will be doing more business with these guys again soon in the future.

At this point less than one star is where I'm at. Subject to change pending an explanation, and receipt of my product. I have reached out via recoil gunworks site, email, and phone with zero response over the past few days. My $549.99 purchase has been in processing since November 21st, and it is now November 30th. I don't even have a tracking number yet. The item purchased is not an FFL required item, and is not regulated in my state. The item was also paid in full at time of order. The lack of communication has been deplorable to say the least. What I do for a living is provide updates on hundreds of orders a day by phone, email, system messages, and I leave with zero unanswered requests each day. To put this in perspective, we are also a small business, and have only a couple of employees at this time. To all of our clients the most important thing is providing them with reliable and consistent updates. I want to support recoil, just as I support other small business, but they are making this really hard for me to do at this moment. I just really see no excuse for the lack of response. Even when we are overwhelmed, constant communication is the most important aspect of maintaining our clients.

AWESOME Company and Service!!! Their prices and shipping were the lowest at the time of my purchase. Their email notification system worked well and notified me of a very hard to find item that I had been waiting for at least 1.5 years if not longer.

It’s been 11 days since I’ve submitted my order. I’ve reached out via email and phone to see about when it may get shipped and haven’t received any answer from anyone. At this point I’m out $410 and am quite unhappy.

I'm new to Recoil Gunworks. All firearm enthusiasts are always looking for the most competitive ammunition prices -- go no further, while the added bonus is free shipping. Fast Shipping. Well packaged ammunition; can't say the same for the big dogs at times.
I was skeptical. Historical reviews (now realizing most from 2021 due to transition "About Us". But even through that I perceived earnest commitment and somewhat unreasonable customers.

I don't think the customer service was there at all.. says makes it easy to purchase online, but actually the opposite. Quick to point the finger instead of getting all the info. I will purchase local and skip the rudeness. Hardly worth 30 bucks savings to be given run around..

Good overall price on the item I ordered. Very slow shipping speed and customer service. It took 3 messages before I received a generic respone. Ordered 8/16 and finally shipped today.

Send me a 30rd box of ammo instead of a 600rd box of ammo. I have reached out to them via website, email, and phone and still no response after 1 month.

Edit: revising to 3 stars: After several unanswered phone calls and emails (using contact info on the invoice), I finally got a response and a refund has been issued for the missing ammo. They made things right and were apologetic and I may be willing to give them another chance at my business in the future.

Fast shipping. Took about 5 days from order date. The Glock 17 (used from Morgan County Indiana Sheriff's Department) I purchased was priced well below what I would have paid for a new gun. Came with AmeriGlo night sights. One magazine. No backstraps. It was in BETTER shape than I anticipated. This is a great company.

I've made a few purchases from Recoil in the past and they went smoothly. However I made a recent purchase of ammo and attempted to contact Recoil regarding shipping ETA but no response. Today I attempted to purchase a firearm as they are offering free shipping but I was placed in an infinite loop filling the FFL info. The cart would not allow me to select an FFL and of course they were still charging shipping even though there is 5/18/23 free ship on guns offer. I have lost trust in the site, the customer service is not existent, and in good faith cannot recommend Recoil to my 2A friends in Florida.

First time ordering from this retailer. Their sale price in CCI 9mm 115 gr was very good and used the free shipping code for first time buyers. Couldn’t beat the bargain. I placed order in Friday evening and it delivered Tuesday morning. Very pleased. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I’ve used Recoil exclusively now for years and figured it’s time to review. Ive made countless ammo purchases with Recoil over the last many years and am happy every time I do. Their stock is typically great, prices are great and shipping is secure/quick. Never one issue and frankly at this point, I don’t expect any in the future. Solid company, thank you!

Had previous orders with them. Shipped fast. They are kind of expensive but did not mind because the service was fast. That has changed. My last order was stuck in processing for five days. I requested a refund and received one promptly.
Will try them in a few months to see if things improved.

One month sense my order of almost $400 worth of shotgun ammo. Oder status still reads as "processing" on website. I've received nothing in the mail, nor have I been able to get in touch with anyone. I've sent two messages through their website and sent an email to one of the staff members listed as contacts on the website. I do not trust this business at this point.

Revision: A rep. got back with me, apologized, explained the situation and refunded me within reasonable time. The situation pit a glitch in my tactical training schedule, AND I appreciate their efforts and attention. About to give them another shot.
