I was well informed about what higbee law will do for my case and getting my records cleared and sealed and getting my firearms rights restored. The person whom I talked (Liz) was very courteous and informative.

Stephanie explained the process of probation termination and misdemeanor expungement nicely, coherently, and clearly so that I was able to understand everything in regards to this process and what to expect.

Here's where it all starts . I've been waiting on them for a 1 1/2 years to file a firearm clemency for me and it's still not done . They've been paid in full for over 6 months and still have not filed. My communication with them says pending attorney verification and it's been that way for 6 months . I believe once they got all their money the completely quit working on my case. I have a phone meeting scheduled with them on this Wednesday and hopefully they'll do their job or refund my $2200. Absolutely will never make this mistake again.

I was dealing with a case from 2012. I was trying to get a set aside preformed to obtain occupational licenses. The ads for Record Gone, which is owned by Higbee and Associates, lured me in. I was amazed with the price $800.00 was the price I was given. The person on the phone gives me the impression things will start moving right away. We set up the account. And I wait. I provided Higbee and Associates with all my case information. I send them minute entries. They took a month to do case research. After that I then waited for them to verify eligibility. I waited another month for an update. I emailed them and communicated with a case worker. (Never did I ever hear from the actual attorney I was assigned.) I asked if they had any idea how long it takes to verify eligibility and I was told there is no answer they could give. They said it can vary. I waited another 3 weeks before I hired another attorney. I spent 3 months with Higbee and Associates with no progress.
My second attorney contacted me immediately after our contract was signed. I was given my new attorney's cell phone number and contact info. They verified eligibility within a few hours, and they prepared the document within a week. They presented the matter very well and my request was granted within a few days after it was submitted. It took this attorney less than 2 weeks to get my set aside granted. This is normally a three-month process. My second attorney was over 2 and a half times the cost Higbee and associates. I learned you get what you pay for.
I waited before posting this because I wanted to see how it would play out in comparison. I was absolutely amazed with my second attorney. I do think this removes some excuses from Higbee and Associates.
Higbee and associates did reimburse me all but $200.00 which they claim was for case investigation. My second attorney really opened my eyes and helped me see how inappropriate the whole experience was. I waited three months, they did not draft anything, and I never once spoke to my lawyer. I am honestly guessing the reason this happens is the fact that they make their money in volume. Since the price was low, which is what lured me in. And they must require a larger volume of cases to pay for the staff and make a profit they feel is appropriate.
At any rate this was the worst experience I have ever had with a law firm. I do not recommend them in any state since they do not care about their clients. At least that's the impression this whole experience gave me. I am grateful I didn't wait longer before cancelling with them.

I was overwhelmed that I never get this domestic background off me. So I did some research on finding a attorney that can help me remove this off my background so I can live a normal life again. My back was almost against the wall nobody or no one to turn too until recordgone came into play. There reasonable and will help you with payment and they seriously do they home work on your case. One of the case managers told me flat out it take patience let what we doing play out until further notice we will update you on everything. And they have gotten my case expunged I highly recommend other to please go to them they will help you like they did for me. Thanks to the staff that on my team for doing a good job.

RecordGone.com is five star, was worth every penny spent to clear up my past and my background. Especially in my future aviation career. Background checks and criminal history are not a deterent anymore as far as applying for a job in my experience in aviation. A person can be limited to do what they are best at if a background check shows a history of being reckless or shows something negative that employers are not looking for. Also RecordGone.com clears up your previos record as well in at least 500 sites that keep your background check clear of your previous history. As far as the time it takes to do this RecordGone,com lets you know up front how long and why. Due to covid our court systems are lacking people or it would have been faster. All pretty seamless from shuttlebus from the airport, paperwork at office, collection of car. Slight problem occurred as my email address was written down incorrectly and therefore didn't receive the rental agreement. Eventually went back to the office and was happily given a paper copy.
As with all hire companies, it's necessary to take copious photos to prove your innocence of every little scratch and dink from pick up. I do wish they would do this themselves to save the hassle!
Had to had to pay for a petrol deposit (full-full) but this was returned several days after drop off. Also had a €1100 block on the credit card for excess (already had excess insurance in place), not used.
Car was clean and OK.
Would use this company again.

Higbee & Associates took care of everything I needed and I never had to leave my house or talk to a human. They update you at every step of the process and answered my emails promptly. The process was a little slower than what was quoted due to COVID starting right when I signed up, but that was out of everyone's control. I highly recommend H&A for expunction and record clearing.
