5 Star business that I will definitely use again to sell my gold. Excellent customer service every step of the way, answered every question I had in a timely manner. More than fair pricing and their shipping process made me feel safe with sending my gold to them. Gave me a price same day items were received and paid me very quickly. IF YOURE CONSIDERING SENDING HERE READ THIS FIRST.
Three reasons that I reviewed such a low rating.
1. I had items that were 100% 14k gold and they had their lab reporting as “low grade 14k 52% so that they could offer less, that’s telling my my 14k necklace was around 12k ? No. I had my items tested before they were sent off so see what they were going to do because the also advertise 90% on gold, and btw that’s just for gold jewelry not for gold scrap, they advertise scrap at 85%. All is all I probably got offered around 75% of what it was supposed to be. Some of the items were sent in that were just garbage but I also didn’t equate that into what I should have gotten. They will lie to you about your items and I truly do believe that.
2. They advertise a very quick turn around. It took me 10 days to get paid via direct deposit. You’re looking at 15+days of it’s any other way other than instant.
3.there are no options to get paid in 24 hrs other than Zelle. And the customer service team does reply quick but half of them are automated messaged that don’t actually awnser anything.

Takeaway? Send your items to another company that’s rated better and has better transparency and tells the truth.

I did about 6 transactions with reDollar every sale was honest and fast no games. Payment with Zelle was instant. I will never use anybody else.

I have sold many pieces of jewelry that were inherited by relatives who passed away. Also stuff my wife just does not wear anymore. And with gold at an all time high, it makes sense to sell and put the money towards other things. I have checked with local gold buyers that claim to pay high prices only to have Redollar blow them out of the water. At this point Redollar is the only company I will use from now on. Unfortunately I am running out of jewelry to sell, lol. Great job and thanks as always.

Great experience. I received more than double the amount on a few gold items that a local jeweler offered me. I was paid $1023 and am very happy. I definitely recommend ReDollar!

I was nervous sending gold and silver through the mail, so I didn’t send much the first time to check it out. Everything was really easy and got paid instantly. Since then I’ve sent in stuff pretty regularly, usually around $1000 but up to $2500. I started using the ACH deposit instead of a check and it’s always in my bank account the next day. I don’t send gold or silver anywhere else now, no one is as easy and pays as well. Very happy with their service!

They are legit! My mom was all sketched out about sending her old wedding band and gold bracelet to an online company. Turns out this company paid more than any of the local shops by far. I sent the gold in on Wednesday and they zelled me $1700 on Friday. Sweet deal!

I haven't ever sold jewelry online, but had to sell a gorgeous diamond ring I inherited. No idea what it was worth, so was happy to find redollar and asked for the free mail-in appraisal kit they advertise online. Instead of sending I was surprised to get a reply from Susan Parker asking me for details about the stones and my price expectations for the ring. Replied that I had no idea what grade the stones are, or what it was worth ... but isn't appraisals what you do at redollar? She replied: "send more photos. based on your photos we will give you an estimate" so I did, even sent a quick video of the ring. Next reply, I get asked for my price expectations again ??!! and knowing diamond value varies greatly so confused not to receive the help with an appraisals as promised ... I did some quick research and sent an uneducated guess using an average of 3 comparable looking rings that I found online, Instead of sending the kit and giving an appraisal as promised, I was told and they could not meet my price expectations and as such would not be "distancing themselves" from the purchase of the ring. Very disappointed to receive no help with the appraisal, which is advertised on their site. It's false advertising.

Warning...DO NOT send them any melted metal and/or agree to a melt test. If their XRF machine can't determine as they claim, request your metal back and find another avenue to sell. Don't settle.. Once your metal is altered by them, they will claim half purity and take you for half it's value. Gold and silver does Not disappear when melted. At that point, it's your word against theirs. What I sent them was 100% verified, so I agreed to melt test. They got me for over $500. They are not the only one's who know metals. Recommended by a Police detective?? LOL, like the one's caught on video in a corrupt act? I FAAFO, but you do you. Edit: They will investigate themselves, find no wrongdoing and reply to this review defensively. Edit #2: High tech as using Aqua Regia solution and Sodium Metabisulfite? Yea, I know a little also. There is some science in it, but not what you're shoveling. Again folks, use at your own risk. A "melt test" is just a legal loophole to short you.

After checking out trustpilot reviews myself and starting out with a small order of silver as a test, I can now say I am SUPER impressed with this company. I have now sent some very large lots of platinum, sliver and gold and each time they have been completely transparent and they usually pay within 10% of spot price. No jeweler even comes close. One offer I had for a lot was $350 and they paid $1100. They will deduct for stones (obviously) but based on weights they are honest. They pay for insured shipping and give you a complete lab report before you agree and then pay you the same day you approve via Zelle. They will also have their experts answer questions about jewelry with diamonds and other items you have questions about before you submit. Just check out their web-site to 'ask an expert' a question. I love their business model, they are honest and fast and pay the most you will find for scrap or jewelry. Right now with the price of gold, selling your jewelry for scrap price is much more lucrative in some cases. You can deal with them in complete confidence. I have used them at least 6 times now.

I had the best experience with ReDollar and I recommend them 110%!! Prior to selling to ReDollar I always sold my gold and silver to local places, as I was afraid to just send my valuables through an online retailer. However I knew if I sold through an online buyer I would get a lot more money, so after doing tons of research I decided to go with ReDollar and I am so happy I did!

ReDollar makes its super easy to sell your valuables. I first used their online calculator to add my items to sell, which instantly provided me with a selling summary and the total payout I could expect to receive, which was WAY more than if I sold locally, like several hundred dollars more!!

From there ReDollar provided me different free shipping options, so I choose to have a shipping label emailed to me, as I didn’t need a shipping kit, which they also would have provided for free! My shipping label, packing instructions and the amount of insurance coverage was instantly emailed to me. All I had to do was print it out, tape it to my package and drop it off at UPS.

I received an email and text 2 days later when my package arrived to their facility. Then later that day I received another email with my lab report, which was the breakdown of each item I sent and how much they offered to pay for each. I accepted the offer, picked a payment method (I choose direct deposit. They offer many different methods!) and by end of that day I had the $$ in my bank account! I could not believe it!!

Besides the ease of selling to ReDollar I really appreciated their transparency and how great and prompt their customer service was. Had been looking for a trustworthy place to sell inherited sterling flatware, jewelry and some dental gold. Was impressed with website and offer of scale to weigh items. Weighed items, initiated online sale, and offer was more than expected as dental gold was 12K rather 10 K as I'd assumed. Second sale of sterling flatware for $1454.12 was several hundred dollars more than a competitor offered for same items. Have now made 4 sales and will soon do more. Outstanding, courteous service, very professional shipping kit, and quick deposit directly to my bank account.

I admit to considerable apprehension about selling a 9K gold wristwatch strap online. After several attempts to obtain prices and numerous research into company reviews and complaints, I chose reDollar. They had the best price and, later, I experienced a very fine, prompt, professional, and well-oiled service. As a previous global businessman, my mantra was a sale is a sale when the payment is cleared by my bank. It was fast and efficient even though it was a Labor Day holiday.

This company is trying to deter me from selling my items and descriminated against me for address given. When I calculated the items and some items that I could not calculate because I did not have a weight but I have an idea of there weight is, they sent an email saying that they would insure my items for $500 total just one bracelet in 14k gold calculated was $588 they are still keeping $28.00 on their side according to 14K gold price. Bracelet alone in a retail market sells for $1000 plus dollars that's not including all other items I was going to send them including a diamond ring and much more. They told me that if I intend to sell items that are worth more than $500 not to sell to them when clearly on their site it states you can sell anything you want how about here I see people received payouts for more than $500 how did they insure those customers did they tell them that they would insure their $5000 item for $500 I wonder if my gold is less than everyone elses still waiting on response for asking that question. after calculating items for more than $500 and a diamond ring of 0.75 ctw which states on their site they offer about $1800 for this size thats not including clarity, cut, color. They also refused offer of $500 in insurance for more $3000 worth of items in wholesale not retail. My paintings one in good condition one that need to be restored. On their site it says contact appraisser for different items you may desire to sell but the feature does not work. They ask you to take pictures of your items for insurance purposes but what I calculated was more than what they are willing insure items for. Stay away if your lucky sell some gold with them for scrap and even then if your item is worth more they may not insure it for what you calculated only available for gold because when you go to calculate diamond it also does not work on their site. I am not sending them anymore pictures of anything it seems that they don't accept much some scrap gold but even if they were to buy my 14k and two item in 18k gold these items are more than $500. Today September 3, 2024 this company decided not to buy my items after days of going back and forth with them their decision not to buy was made because I filled a negative review and I will continue this company offered me $500 insurance for items that sell for more than $4000 dollars retail. Their site states what they buy, it should be that easy if you have items they buy than why send me pictures of this and no I will not take that and so forth if it states you buy these items. I contacted them and had asked just send the shipping kit and I would decide which items I would send for that amount ultimate response is they are not taking any item funny!!! Don't complicate your life with them if you have more that item with them also they said to me that the insurance is because they some times item that are not gold that is possible since people might not know if items are really gold or might try to pass them for gold but my items are weighed and tested never purchased online so while I understand their side of giving $500 in insurance just in case they get something that is not gold undestand my side, I can't take the risk of sendind more $4000 dollars worth item for that amount. The botom line only the customer knows if their items are real gold but you can't tell people that are being honest to take the risk in sending $4000 worth of items to you for $500. The price of 14k gold is $44.78 to be exact I calculated a 14k gold bracelet on your site for that weighs 13.5 grams and your site offered $588.00 just for the bracelet but if I was going to calculate it a the price of gold of $44.78 the bracelet is $608.53 that is whole sale not retail. The value of a the diamond whic is 0.75 ctw vvs1 F color is $4000 retail that you are offering $1888.00 on you site. As for your credibility that you have been appraising for for many years so have I since I worked for a diamond broker and sold very high end jewelry. I already sold my jewelry to a company I won't mention here and they insured my package for $5000 no problem, let's not continue, I think an aplogy is in order for descriminating against me and trying to swindle me and no I won't remove my review of what honestly happened to me. You're digging yourself deeper by admitting that you were trying to offer me $500 on a 14k gold bracelet that weighs 13.5 grams and 14K gold 0.75 ctw ring just because of the address I submitted. Trustpilot may not allow this review go public but it probably should.
