They were paid by the Airlines but never paid me anything

I wish I had done better research on Refly prior to using them. Read the dozens of 1 star reviews and you will find several people that never received their payment from Refly despite them getting fully paid on the customer's behalf from the airlines. Their social media sites have recently gone offline due to the hundreds of customer complaints. They use your information to get paid by the airline and then they never pay you.
I filed my claim with Refly in December. Was sent an e-mail from them in January confirming the airline had approved my claim for 600 euros and I should be receiving my funds within a few weeks. I provided them with all of my bank details for transfer of payment in January. Over 12 weeks later, despite me sending them multiple inquiries about payment, I have received ZERO payment and they have ignored every message I have sent and have not responded once. My Claim # is 45629354336. I will update this review if I ever get paid in full. I plan to file a complaint with the European Consumer Centre. I encourage others with a similar experience to do the same.

I strongly advise avoiding Refly.

I strongly advise avoiding Refly.

They initially asked us to provide signatures to proceed with a compensation claim. We chose not to, as friends of ours had successfully gone directly through the airline themselves. It was a simple process and you receive the full amount rather than losing 33% in fees to Refly.

After we declined to provide signatures, Refly emailed to say they could not proceed without them. We then went directly to the airline, only to be told we couldn’t pursue the claim ourselves because Refly had already opened it and refused to close it.

To make matters worse, the airline paid the compensation to Refly. Refly have kept the money and have ignored all of my emails for the past two months. There is no contact number and it has been impossible to get any response or resolution.

This experience has been incredibly frustrating and completely unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.

Dishonest company!

Dishonest company!

Refly collected €800 in compensation from the airline and never transferred my share. As of today, the delay is 7 months.

I am writing this review after numerous reminders and formal requests sent to Refly, none of which have produced any results. Their only response has been that the payment “will be made.”

I submitted a compensation claim for two passengers for a delayed flight in June 2025. I repeatedly followed up with Refly regarding the payment. Eventually, Refly confirmed that the funds would be transferred.

My details:

Claim ID (2 passengers): 16561141232
Airline: Aegean Airlines
Submission date: June 20, 2025

As of today, I have not received any payment despite multiple follow-ups.

The airline has confirmed that the compensation was released shortly after the claim was approved.

At this point, this should be considered financial misconduct.

Do not use this company.

If anything changes (i.e., I receive the funds), I will update this review.

I am writing this review after Payment confirmed but never received – 3+ months delay…

I am writing this review after more than 3 months of waiting and repeated follow-ups with no resolution.

I submitted my compensation claim for a delayed flight (San Juan – Madrid, January 25, 2026). The process started normally, and communication was initially responsive. However, things changed once the payment stage was reached.

On April 2026, ReFly confirmed that both payments had been successfully transferred for the following claims:

Claim 43425405886 – Catalina Visan

Claim 51980405904 – Domenico Fiumara

As of today, neither I nor my husband have received any funds.

Despite multiple follow-ups, no proof of transfer has been provided. No transaction reference, no payment confirmation, nothing.

What makes this situation even more concerning is that the airline confirmed that compensation was released shortly after the claim was approved. Yet, months later, we are still chasing payment with no transparency.

At this stage, this is no longer a delay. It is a failure to deliver funds that have already been confirmed as sent.

I have now issued a formal notice requesting proof of payment within 5 working days. If this is not resolved, I will proceed with:

Filing complaints with European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net)

Reporting the case to national consumer protection authorities

Initiating legal action to recover the funds

I strongly advise others to be cautious and ensure full transparency before using this service.

I will update this review if and when the situation is resolved.
