The piece itself is delicate looking and true to the photo in terms of style. The smaller black sections look like enamel paint - they are not Onyx and the whole item was packaged in 2 small plastic bags. For the price I would have expected this to be boxed (I bought a box separately as this was a gift for someone and I did not want it to look as cheap as it did when packaged in the plastic).
