Service is not fit for purpose

I arrived at the centre and there was nobody on reception. There was a note telling people to email them in case of a problem. I did but this email was not replied to until I emailed back 2 days later explaining I would take my issue to trustpilot (which I still intend to do).

A member of the building staff told me there was supposed to be somebody representing Regus in the building when the receptionist was unavailable, but they did not know who or where they were. This person eventually found me a meeting room but explained they did not know if it was booked that day or not, so I might be disturbed by people turning up for a meeting.

This runs deeper that that. I took out the agreement because I wished to use the Falkirk and Linlithgow sites for occasional use, with a view to taking up office space at one of the sites on a permanent basis. I was informed on my first visit that I cannot use Linlithgow as it is unmanned. However I can still book it through your app. To prove this point I have just made a reservation for next Monday.

After twice requesting to view offices in Linlithgow I have never heard back from Regus. This is your core business. I get emails encouraging me to take out office space but when I approach you directly nobody can be bothered following up.

The first time I booked an office in Falkirk I was given a key fob for the door that did not work. The lady, an area manager based in Broxburn I believe, told the building staff the key fob would not work on the door as she did not know which offices were vacant when she took me upstairs. Rather than going back downstairs to get a key fob that worked she signed out and left the reception desk unmanned, leading to me being locked out of the office for 2 hours. I could not leave as my laptop and keys were locked inside. After numerous phone calls and emails that were not followed up I finally regained access, too harassed to get much work done.

It is not just the fact that these incidents occurred that is the problem. It is the way you handle, or rather, ignore the issue once it arises, that causes most damage. It makes it look like you are woefully understaffed, running a skeleton staff to cut costs.

To date you have repeatedly told me that you gave me a free day booking to make up for this. As I have never used my full allocation this is an empty gesture. I would have made heavy use of Falkirk this week, as it is a school holiday and difficult to work from home, but I cannot face the idea of turning up to your offices again. I was prepared to ride out the contract until this latest incident, but I am not now.

Please recognise your repeated failures and take responsibility for them. I do not find it acceptable to be told to go through the app with this complaint when I have clearly asked for a manager to contact me.

Please don't tell me you take this seriously and would like to reach out to me. I contacted you with these details over 2 weeks ago and was told they were passed on to a manager. I have heard nothing since so cutting and pasting a standard reply to this will look rather silly.
