Trust Broken on Day 1. I will not be taken advantage of like this

I was with another coworking space that rocked honestly and the only reason i came to Regus is because I moved outside of the Atlanta area and needed something closer. I was shown offices, print room, shown the break room and told there was coffee and tea (no complimentary snacks which is a bummer since im used to wework/techpark spaces). They also had a bit outdated desks but told me i could order my own desk from the catalog and it was part of the plan (covered). My partner and I asked over 3 times if standing desks were covered and were assured we could order those. SO then came the signing day:
1. We charged you for 2 months in advance + an activation fee of 40/ person and we will charge you for 2 months at a time (not what the agreement i initially sign said - it said in 30 day increments).
2. Tea and Coffee is 35/person/month
3. Printers are .50/page for black and white 1.00 for color
4. Oh yeah, those desks we said were included are now $400.00 per person and we keep the desk when your gone (we literally chose them with our rep and she assured us the same day that they were covered)

This is just my day of signing and shocked me so much that I just asked to cancel this contract and get out of here before im taken advantage of even more.

My best advice, ask about these things up front and make sure they are put in writing before signing a contract with them otherwise, they will say they didnt know, and just keep stacking on charges. I haven't used my office yet i'm just wanting to get out of this asap as they've already broken my trust on day 1.

EDIT!
Considering you can read the reply below. My agreement did not start until the following month. I asked for this agreement to be ended before the start date and even turned in my keys but they still are trying to charge my account and give me no way to cancel.

These are the kind of thieves that run things there. The moment they charge you, you will be surprised to find that everything shy of fresh air is a fee and if you dare to try and opt out, your threatened and told there is no way out. What kind of customer service is that? If your service and business model stinks, give people a way to walk out (especially if they havent started yet) and fix your model. Next time explain these things before charging and pushing clients into a contract - you will probably not have such terrible reviews all over the internet.

Its going on month #2, I've told my amex to block all charges and hired a firm to get me out of this nightmare. If they want to use scare tactics thats fine, but I am spreading this message on our pages, youtube and social accounts. Wanted to do this a civil way but cant be civil with these kind of bullies

Hi Nathan,
I understand that you’re dissatisfied and would like to help.
We bill our customers in advance. Our invoices are made up of two different types of charges:
1. Recurring charges like your monthly office fee, parking, signage… These are billed in advance.
2. One-time charges like meeting rooms, photocopies, admin support… These are billed in arrears.
All your invoices are available in your online account (Account section) and payable upon receipt but no later than the 15th day of each month.
Since you have signed a new agreement, you have been billed for 2 month’s retainer which is refundable and an activation fee for 2 persons in the initial invoices. These fees are charged once.
As part of our customer policy, we provide quality teas, coffee, milk, sugar, glassware, and cutlery to all customers that they can enjoy along with their guests.
For the convenience of our customers, this service will be automatically added to their accounts. If for any reason you don’t require this service, you can opt-out at any time by logging onto your online account (MyRegus.com).
Printing is a pay-as-you-use service, and it is charged according to the usage.
Your centre team has clarified to you that the desk you chose from the catalogue comes with a fee. Since you didn’t agree to pay the additional cost, they have suggested another option which you have rejected.
Your centre team has always been in touch with you and provided the necessary explanation about the charges billed to you.
You have signed an office agreement with us till 31 May 2024 to enjoy a preferential monthly fee. This is a formal business commitment, and it should be ended according to its notice period. You will be charged till the end date of your agreement.
Should there be anything further I can assist you with, please contact me directly at michelle.spire@regus.com.
Kind regards,
Michelle Spire
