An excellent example of a Regus Business Centre
I’ve now been a user of the Regus in Guildford Business Park for just over a year. John the manager, as well as Hope at first and now Radi have looked after me and my visitors and other users brilliantly since that time. The space is a modern, well maintained and very comfortable to use.

A great work environment
I have used the Regus Business lounge service since July 2014, and for someone like myself who runs their own business it is a great service.
To be able to come to a space where you could work in a clean, well-maintained, air conditioned environment had a bigger value than I had anticipated.
The interaction with fellow business owners was something that I had missed working from home for the four years prior to joining Regus. And as there are a good spread of locations, it is great to have it now as an option to work in comfort in between client meetings.
The two outlets I use primarily , Hillswood Drive Chertsey and Building 2 Guildford are both great places to come and work. The team are always friendly, present a great working space and are always on hand to help with any need you may have during your business day.
Would thoroughly recommend it.

They tell you one price and charge you double with hide charges
The office manager, regional manager weren't helpful and instead of trying to support the office manager just gave attitude emails back and not willing to help.
I cancelled the parking and drinks at the office desk, and I was told it was taken care of but they apparently didn't take care of it.
As I don't have the cancellation of the services in writing, they are stating there's nothing they can do.
To add to this, on before initially agreeing to have the office space for 5 weeks (adding 4 more later on), I requested if there were any additional costs I need to be aware of, the answer was "no", I have email proof of this but Regus/IWG just sent me back to the T&C's for their 'Restoration Service Charge'.... that was £200 inc VAT for a small internal room with 2 desk, 2 chairs and 4 sockets.... a fairly big charge for a room that needed a hoover.
Overall, experience was pretty poor, with hidden charges and poor service overall.
Nothing wrong with the office space itself (although a window and fresh air would have been nice) and the hot desk space was nicer than the private office.

Cold and Completely Uncompromising - avoid
We have been with Spaces for several years. We rented one of the largest offices in the building.
We had to rightsize our team and wanted to reduce office size, having rolled a 12 month agreement into another 12 months. We needed to reduce costs.
In the past we could flex up or down, the point of serviced offices. If you want to "flex up" expect next-day service. Flexing down, different story. In the past we have reduced our rent but increased our term and honoured our original agreement amount of money we would pay Regus.
The manager of the site is lovely to deal with but they simply defer all decisions to higher authority (not sure who) but the answer is "No" and are totally inflexible and quite literally, think only about the short term rental income. While they are a business, they could reduce rent and extend term. They have done this in the past.
On this occasion they initially just stalled. Don't answer emails for weeks, and run the clock down. Then they simply say no, you cant move to a smaller office,to me - the message is - we dont care about your business circumstance. We understand the need to honour commercial agreements, we simply ask for flexibility and consistency.
The response was - I needed to find a tenant to backfill - when its their business to find tenants. In the years we have been there we have paid over £ six figures to Regus and we get this treatment back. Amazing.
On what to expect as a customer:
Recently, our office was unusable as the lights not working and worse still a loud and off-putting clicking sound. Half the office went home and could not focus (some live far away or cant work from home so had to stay which was sufficient justification to say "we can still use the office").
Its been over a week and it still isnt fixed - and you guessed it - Regus wont offer a penny back in compensation claiming they provided alternative space (we have dedicated split screen work stations so it would not have worked) The centre manager did offer to move all the equipment but then renegaded on that commitment on the morning we were due to move, citing they had to cover another centre, would be in around midday, and then went on leave.
Latest update - This has persisted for almost 3 weeks - 14 working days to date - and apparently to get an electrician in to repair this Regus need to get 3 quotes. We are still waiting.
Good luck!
