I was charged a late fee for a reason…
I was charged a late fee for a reason that was frustrating and setting a bad tone for relationship. I also sent these feedback to the sales person who signed me up with no follow up. Also, the front desk person who didn't follow up either. It was the "corp" team who had no context and didn't read my email explaining what happened.

If payment is not received by the due date, we incur administration costs and, though we would like to avoid charging you for this, we must pass on a late fee to you.
As you’ve set up an automated payment method, we have now credited the late payment fee for you.
