My recent interaction with Regus Malaysia was a tale of two extremes: an exceptional frontend reception experience contrasted with an utterly frustrating and disappointing encounter with the back office, specifically the finance team. While the reception staff was commendable, the lackluster performance of the finance team marred my overall impression.
The positive aspect of my experience was the friendly and professional demeanor of the reception staff. They greeted me with a warm welcome and assisted me promptly whenever I had inquiries or needed assistance. Their attentive approach contributed significantly to a positive first impression of Regus' services.
However, the finance team's performance was a stark departure from this favorable introduction. Dealing with them was an exercise in frustration. Their email responses were painfully slow, taking days to acknowledge and address simple inquiries. This lack of responsiveness not only impeded effective communication but also caused significant problems for me.
The most egregious issue arose with late payment charges. Despite my efforts to clarify billing matters in a timely manner, the finance team's sluggishness resulted in charges for late payments. Their inability to promptly address discrepancies and concerns directly impacted my experience.
This contrast between the superb frontend experience and the abysmal back office performance is emblematic of a significant internal disconnect within Regus' operations. It's deeply disappointing to see such a disparity between teams that should be working in tandem to provide a consistent and smooth experience for clients.
In conclusion, my experience with Regus Malaysia was a mixed bag. While the frontend reception staff displayed professionalism and customer-centric attitudes, the finance team's sluggishness, unresponsiveness, and its careless approach to billing matters seriously hindered my overall satisfaction. Regus needs to urgently address these internal issues to ensure that their services align with the standards they promote. Until then, I would advise potential clients to exercise caution when considering Regus as their office space provider.
Update - Receive a reply from below mentioned that they will follow on my case to resolve the matter but there is no update at all, please do not pretend to be attentive if your team isn't working. Credit control, Finance, none of them is responsive including your current Country Manager in Malaysia 2023.
Update - I think your team didn't tell you what's the latest issue, the person who contacted me via email didn't response to my email. If the help section works as it should, I believe the review here is something positive? It is okay if your team tell you everything is solved as it should, I'm not surprise if that's how you investigate this issue because the experience I get from your team is similar. I am here to share my honest review. There is no point for me to further update this review since there is no intention from your end to sort this out.
Update - Final update here
1. Regus team is not responsive, took them days to reply a single question which caused late payment on my account
2. I paid the late payment charges and updated via email, didn't get any response and I receive another warning email for pending payment from their end.
Conclusion
1. Do not expect them to response in short time
2. You have to absorb the late payment charges caused by their late response
3. You made full payment and you will still receive email mentioning that you didn't and report your outstanding to credit bureau.
4. Customer service mentioned someone will contact, actually nobody will response to you, just make payment and lodge a report to authority who is protecting consumer right and move on.
The reply below? Pretty well sugar coated. I sent everything to your colleague.
