I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Regus, Lewisham High Street. My contract was due to end, yet it was automatically renewed without my clear consent. Prior to this, I had emailed to explain that I was no longer able to continue paying for the office space, as I already have another office within the same building and no longer require the additional unit. Despite notifying them in advance and clearly stating my intention to end the contract, my request was not acknowledged or supported. As a small business owner who is currently pregnant and preparing for maternity leave, I had hoped for some understanding and flexibility. Instead, I have felt pressured into continuing with an office space that I do not need and cannot reasonably afford. I am disappointed by the lack of empathy and customer support shown in this situation. I would have expected better communication and consideration, especially given the circumstances, now they for forcing me to pay for an office that is empty and no one is using it. I feel discriminated and feel am being put under duress this situation is really stressing me and am afraid of loosing my pregnancy as am a highrisk pregnant woman which comes with complications as I have started bleeding and fear of loosing my unborn baby, am having sleepless night about this issue which is not healthy for me in my current situation - Bridgett
This was the email I sent earlier in January 2026, see below
Dear Regus reception / Juliaa
Hope this email finds you well.
My name is Bridgett, and I am the owner and manager of Brince Cleaning Services and Brince Solutions – both operating from Regus offices under the same company umbrella.
Originally, the Brince Cleaning Services contract was set to end in March 2026, with no plans to renew it. Instead, I intended to consolidate operations by upgrading Brince Solutions to take over the space used by Brince Cleaning Services.
However, during my first trimester of pregnancy, I was admitted to hospital for three weeks due to high-risk complications that required close medical monitoring. While I was in hospital, a reminder email regarding the renewal or termination of the Brince Cleaning Services contract was sent, but I only saw it upon returning to work in January 2026.
I have since spoken to Julian, who informed me that the contract was automatically renewed without my knowledge. This has caused significant stress as it was not aligned with my business plans, and current circumstances make maintaining two offices unfeasible.
Business is slow, and as the sole operator of the company, my ability to manage operations has been impacted by my pregnancy. I am scheduled to have an elective Caesarean section in June, followed by approximately three months of maternity leave to recover and regain my strength. During this time, I will be unable to work or cover costs for multiple offices.
Additionally, the Brince Solutions contract is due to end in November 2026, and I will not be able to make payments during my leave. I have also been a consistent referrer of clients to Regus without receiving any commission for these referrals.
I am kindly requesting that the automatically renewed Brince Cleaning Services contract be cancelled immediately, allowing me to retain just one office space that I can manage under my current circumstances. I would be grateful if management could review my situation and approve this request.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

I would strongly advise anyone considering Regus to be very cautious and look elsewhere.
I paid a £1,200 deposit for a small office space. As my lease came to an end, Regus refused to return my deposit and instead tried to charge me £1,086 for “restoration works” — including £761 for a coat of paint and £325 for carpet cleaning. These figures are completely unreasonable for such a small space, and they are attempting to deduct them despite the fact that any minor marks or wear are normal wear and tear, not tenant damage.
On top of this, they also tried to add a £290 “restoration fee.” It is clear that they are trying to profit from deposits rather than treat customers fairly.
The experience at the centre itself was also appalling. The receptionist was extremely rude, raised his voice at me, and even profiled one of my clients. This behaviour was unprofessional, unacceptable, and left me very uncomfortable using their services.
What makes matters worse is that I raised a formal complaint about the receptionist months ago, and to this day no one from Regus has responded to me. My emails have been ignored, and this lack of accountability is shocking for a company that presents itself as professional.
Regus markets themselves as a professional provider, but in my experience they are nothing short of scammers who make it as difficult as possible for you to recover your own money. I have raised complaints multiple times, but they are either ignored or dismissed.
Avoid Regus at all costs.

so last month Regus have a problem (theirs) collecting rent by direct debit. so they ask you to pay by other means and threaten late fees! so you pay by other means and then 2 days later they tell you they have successfully taken the direct debit after all- and not to worry if you have paid twice as they will sort out a credit next month. then they collect the current months direct debit...leaving you overdrawn. they will not re credit but will hang on to my £3000 for a month and i have to rely on their competence ( none shown to date) to ensure that i am not charged again next month. given dealing with Regus is as productive as talking to a brick wall i have no confidence. if i raise the issue through their on line service ( no chance of speaking to a human) i get a message back saying they have no record of my complaint- the complaint i am raising now?!

If I could give Zero stars, I would.
I wasn’t ready to sign the agreement. The sales lady hounded me until i signed. I told her the way she was so pushy it’s giving me anxiety. She promised I could pay the deposit at a later date as I wasn’t ready at the time. This is actually out of policy. (I didn’t know this)
However straight after I signed I received an invoice with the due date of the date I signed. I was in debt from the date I signed constantly being called the the “debt collection team”. I tried to terminate but it said I now owe money for the next 2 years.
All conversations whereby she bent the rules to get me to sign, she made sure they were done over the phone. So I couldn’t prove it. However, I have messages proving her being pushy and me stating I’m not ready.
I tried to contact the CEO and was responded to by a “customer service specialist” who said they can terminate my agreement to March 2025 instead of the 2 years I apparently owe. After I said al that had gone on, he asked me to prove in writing where I was promise the later date to pay and obviously I didn’t have it because she made sure she called me to tell me. I told them to contact her directly for her to confirm and she lied and said she didn’t say that.
I haven’t stepped foot in the room I’m supposed to rent, nor is the date I was supposed to start anywhere near. I signed the 7th November 2024. Move in day is 2nd January 2025. I cancelled a week later.
They shouldn't be able to do this to people, I feel like I was taken advantage of and scammed.
They should make sure people are 100% before signing, I know this is their job and they get paid commission but once someone says no it means no! don’t bend the rules and manipulate them to signing a contract they “can’t get out of”
