Disappointing service at Columbia MD II Office
On May 10th, 2024, I experienced a series of unprofessional and disrespectful interactions with the staff at the Regus office. I would like to outline the events and issues I faced:
Initial Encounter: Upon arrival at the office, I greeted the associate, stated my name, and mentioned that I was there to pick up my mail. I was ignored at first and then addressed rudely. The associate incorrectly addressed me by the wrong name multiple times, despite my corrections, and no apology was offered.
Mail Handling: The associate claimed my mail was sent back due to improperly filled-out paperwork. I had completed the necessary paperwork with the Manager at the beginning of April and have a copy to prove it. Despite acknowledging their error, there was no apology, and I only received one piece of mail despite expecting several.
Follow-Up Call: In my follow-up call to track my mail, the associate continued to address me by the wrong name, causing further frustration. The associate was condescending and did not take my concerns seriously. In a follow up email from the customer care specialist C, I was told that there was a person instigating in the background and they had proof. I informed C that not once did she gather my side of the story and informed her that my partner who was driving was trying to find the nearest post office because the customer associate had no clue where my mail was sent back to.
Interaction with regional manager J and customer service associate C: On May 15th, I spoke with J who suggested transferring offices as the best course of action. I didn't care for this option because it was of further inconvenience to me but I told her I would review the list of offices available. However, instead of receiving a list of available offices, I received further blame from C and no resolution to my initial concerns. The conversation focused more on defending the associate's "character" rather than addressing the poor customer service I experienced.
I have no desire to have a resolution with a company that would rather defend an associates "good character", none of which I witnessed, than trust in the experience I had. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, but not everyone gets to take that bad day out on other people. I have to trust my business matters to be taken care of and I simply can't do that with Regus or the Columbia Town Center II office.
Unfortunately, the only great interaction I had was with one person, Lori, and I can't guarantee that she'll be there all the time.
I have already shared this multiple times with Regus that I appreciated their attempts at reconciliation but it was not enough for me. This may be different for others. However they continue to gaslight me as if I'm not being cooperative when I've actually been more than amenable. This isn't a new review, instead it's me wanting people to know on every platform what this particular location is capable of. The treatment I experienced wasn't fair, and yet I'm being told I'm not being fair, which is interesting.
