Unreliable, unresponsive, and holding deposits hostage

I signed with Regus Poblado Park expecting a professional office with reliable internet and power. Instead, I had three outages in two weeks that cost me working hours and income. They couldn’t even provide the bare minimum services they advertise.

I gave notice in April 2025 and formally disputed the next month’s invoice. Regus then ignored my emails for six months. When they finally responded, it wasn’t to resolve my complaint — it was to demand payment for charges I had already disputed.

To make matters worse, they are still withholding my deposit while citing a blanket “restoration fee,” even though I returned the office in the exact same condition I received it.

Regus markets “professional workspace,” but when problems arise, they go silent and keep your money. If you value reliability and accountability, stay away.

Hi Daniel,
I’m so sorry for your experience.
Your centre team has confirmed that the power outage occurred only once and was resolved on the same day. Please note that power outages are managed by external utility providers, and your centre team does not have control over such incidents.
You vacated the office and ended your month-to-month agreement online on 18 April 2025. The notice period of this type of agreement is no less than 1 month’s notice from the 1st day of any calendar month. The agreement end date of 31 May 2025 is valid, and the May service fee remains payable.
The office restoration fee is a part of your agreement. We provide our restoration service for all customers to save time and money, along with the frustration of dealing with multiple outside vendors, such as IT & phone technicians. When you moved into your office, we ensured it was all in working order and ready for use. We do the same with each customer.
You have not requested your retainer refund online. Requesting a refund is easy. You should log into your online account (myregus.com), select Account > Billing and payments > Retainer balances, where a specific section for refund requests is available. Your refund will be processed within 30 days after your request date. It’s an automated process.
One of my team members has contacted you on this. Please respond to them for further assistance.
Thank you,
Lorraine Brule
