Horrid office space

Horrid office,Too hot ,Dirty ,Building unkempt, walls are dingy dark and scratched, Dusty, carpets staine and dirty
Coffee area unsanitary renters sticking hands with utility gloves in it to Shovel ice out
Waiting area has one TV with jazz playing and less than 10 ft away the news is on sound conflicts no way to hear or enjoy one or the other asked for this to be adjusted or just to have caption on the TV whole music played was told "I cannot that is corporate"

Staff is GREAT very friendly professional they do the best they can in the crap they are working in

after I sent this review "trust pilot" removed several comment that was on the original feedback comment box I sent and the comment below from regus making a claim what I wrote is fictitious" is interesting.
I will omit the statement I made about the 3m command strips on the wall bec it is aprt of the legal i (in my opinion it does not make sense bec eaxh new renemrer has to pay an upfront restoration fee for the offoce they go into) .. yes it was a legal what Regis did to.then charge me for paint that peeled off with the 3m command strips and to the
charge me approx $500 to "restore" what they will charge the new renter upfront"resto

. Yes the office staff are GREAT, the regional manager is GREAT, they try to be helpful as stated they tried their very best to accommodate me by moving me to the only cooler section of the floor theybremt from the bldg. however all renters Also were baking in all wondow areas of the suite & inner pffoces also had issie when temperatures reached the high 80's in the fall bec the bldg is rigid abtbwhen they turn on and off the central air regus staff who were professional told us they cannot control the building therfore Regus has invested in good workers but a disaster bldg that they cannot do anything about.
But also unfortunate the space regus is in control of has scratchdd dingy halls lounge area dirty carpet dirty.

I habe corrected the legal part just now abt the command strips i used being apart of the agreement i signrd therfore my statement reflects what is a personal opinion abt being charged for something i signed.
However it is not fictitious two other businesses coincidently moved out within two months of my departure to the new office space I'm in now.
I.thank the staff and manager at REGUS for their consideration and I hope u decode to work for another company that truly provides the best service to clientel and does not make it where u sit in a hot office where tenants complain to u abt the same thing. Thank u for facilitating my departure after myself and a client almost passed out from the intense heat several times this is so appreciated.
and sincere thanks to.the staff who had genuine empathy theyv gave me a fan in an attempt to correct what the bldg lacked ( no a.c. or insufficient a.c.).. once again regus staff are great.. building is a disaster.. building owner is negligent allowed fire alarm to go off forn 3 days straight on a holiday wknd no call went to the fire dept

Hello Dawn,
Whilst we’re sorry for your disappointment, we disagree with your heavy comments.
Your agreement has already ended and any concerns you had were addressed prior to this end date (30 April 2023) so it is surprising that you would then post fictitious comments online. The centre team went to great lengths to support you and made exceptions when you informed us of your health issues.
The condition of your office is not as you have described and in fact required some restoration after your departure; there is photo evidence to support this.
I have asked your local team to contact you again to reclarify your frustrations. They are your key contacts here, please discuss this with them directly. Thank you.

We did a walkthrough and met with them…

We did a walkthrough and met with them concerning moving our office to the location on Westchester Avenue in White Plains. When we asked for a copy of the lease to show our attorney (my brother in law) they said they don’t do that. Then they said “everything is done electronically” and when I asked them more questions, they began to become uncomfortable, and then when I read some of the reviews on here, I made sure I was very clear with them that they did not have my permission to create a lease and that I was just exploring options. When I called them a second time, I also asked if there was any licensed realtors or brokers, and they said no. as much as we like the location, reading the reviews on here, and the Better Business Bureau is keeping us from not going back. It’s very uncomfortable when they will not even give you something in writing for an attorney to review.

Hi,
We understand that you've raised your complaint in support of Harry who left us an earlier review. Choosing to post anonymous untruthful posts in an attempt to force our hand is unprofessional.
As detailed to Harry, we have records of a signed agreement, starting on 1 March 2023. It is not uncommon for customers to sign an agreement without first seeing an office if they choose to do so.
We sent regular invoices to the registered email address (you can check these through the online account, myregus.com).
Whilst we understand that the office was not occupied, we weren't informed and the space remained reserved all this time.
Our position remains unchanged.

Regus opened account lease without permission

Our Westchester Division was inquiring about a convenient drop off location at 777 Westchester Ave in White Plains and they took our information, as well as information publicly available online, and opened and account without us ever visiting the space, similar to what Wells Fargo and US Bank did to their customers. We know because it happened to us. Now they play dumb and sent an e-mail requesting over $5000 to make the collections stop. Regus did this to 2 other businesses we know of. We should have just looked at their F- BBB rating before even wasting our time.

Regus' Unsettling Billing Practices: A Costly Mailing Address or a Phantom Lease?

Our company had made online inquiries about office space at various locations, including a Regus branch situated at 777 Westchester Avenue in White Plains. However, we ultimately decided not to proceed and never visited the premises. To our surprise, several months later, we received a phone call requesting payment of $3,221.03 and $5,217.13 to "settle" the account. This situation leads us to question whether they leased a physical space to a nonexistent tenant or if this is simply the most exorbitant mailing address service we have ever come across. Regardless, the revenue generation methods employed by Regus are clearly unsustainable. It is imperative that Regus reassess their ethical practices in order to maintain credibility.

RESPONSE ON JUNE 6, 2023:

As a licensed real estate professional, I’ve learned over the years that commercial office space in New York usually follows a well-established procedure. This involves the prospective tenant inspecting the available space, engaging in comprehensive discussions regarding lease terms, and, upon reaching a mutual understanding, proceeding with payment and finalizing the lease agreement. Regrettably, in the situation you’re describing, these critical steps were not carried out. My team was not granted the opportunity to perform a walk-through or inspection of the property, nor were the proposed lease terms thoroughly deliberated. As a result, a mutual understanding was not achieved between both parties.

Moreover, I am troubled by the fact that your management has not responded to any of our numerous inquiries, despite persistent efforts to obtain information. Clear communication is an essential component of any business transaction, and the silence from your staff has only exacerbated our frustration and bewilderment.

In light of these circumstances, we respectfully request that you promptly furnish us with the requested copies of the agreement and invoices, as well as a lucid explanation of the actions taken on your end.

Whilst we understand that you may have chosen not to proceed, we received no such notice from you and the space has remained reserved for you all this time. We have certainly acted ethically.
