9 years ago I decided to go out on my own as a solo attorney. I knew I needed to make a change, but with little resources and virtually no business accumen, I didn't know how to go about starting my own business. Regus was a perfect match. I literally took the smallest office they had available. Fortunately, I grew over time to bigger offices and even had two for a time. As a small business owner, you learn pretty quickly that some financial decisions are ripoffs, and others are incrediblly valuable. I NEVER felt like I was being overcharged by Regus. You get office space, furniture, kitchen, bathrooms, janitorial services, access to a top-notch copy machine, a phone number and voicemail, and mail service. All of that for one monthly price. No utilities, no insurance, no onerous long-terms leases. What I have left out is that Regus' people - Wendy, Charles, Pat, and so many others who I have gotten to work with over the years, are so helpful and provide tremendous support to all of the businessowners renting at Regus. I would strongly recommend Regus to anyone who has a small business, but does not want to deal with the headaches of engaging in a long-term lease with a big property management company looking to strong-arm you. I am appreciative of all that Regus has done for me and my career and I hope others will get to experience them too.

DON'T DO IT

DON'T DO IT. Absolutely horrendous. Got charged $600 for a $150 plan. Co working office has no co working area. No office rooms. Front desk useless. Online support useless. Can't recommend enough that you DO NOT do business with these clowns.

Hi Johnathon,
I’m so sorry for your disappointment.
The details of all charges and services are outlined in our agreement and we charge our customers accordingly. We bill in advance and our invoices are made up of two different types of charges:
1. Recurring charges like your monthly office fee, parking, signage…  These are billed in advance.
2. One-time charges like meeting rooms, photocopies, admin support…  These are billed in arrears.
All your invoices are available in the Account section of your online account (myregus.com) and payable upon receipt but no later than the 15th day of each month. In your initial invoices, you were charged an activation fee, a pro-rated October service fee, and a November service fee.
Your virtual office plan, which you signed up for online, includes a professional address, standard call answering, and complimentary lounge access at our global network of centres. The co-working and office spaces are available on a pay-per-use basis, or you can upgrade your plan for full access to these spaces.
I understand that you wanted to cancel your agreement since you’re unable to access the co-working or the office spaces and are unsatisfied with the lounge in your centre. Please be informed that all our agreement should be ended online according to their notice period. A signed agreement is a formal, business commitment. We partner with our customers to help them run and grow their business, but we also have a business to run and cannot cancel an agreement earlier than its end date. You have ended your agreement online with end date 31 December 2024. As per the terms, all invoices up until this date remain payable.
Your centre team has confirmed that they have addressed all your concerns. Please contact them if you need further help.
Thank you,
Lorraine Brule

Regus is really a great value

Regus is really a great value. It is a perfect solution for small business owners - particularly ones just starting out. Everything you could possibly need is included in one price and you are getting a lot for your money. Not to mention the office managers at the Toringdon location have always been excellent to work with.
