I am renting a virtual office in the Greensboro Green Valley Office Park location since March 30th now. None of the invoices have been correct/consistent yet. I had to go into the office to sign additional papers and provide further information - still the service I requested had not established as communicated. I was offered a $35/month mail forwarding just to recognize that out of an to me unexplainable cause I was charged international mail forwarding.
Again the whole experience with renting an virtual office space is sub-optimal and I am actually looking to change this after my initial 6month period is over.

Hi Lars,
I appreciate how frustrating the billing inconsistency must be, and I apologise if we’ve not delivered the standard of service you rightly expect.
International mail forwarding is our standard service for customers whose forwarding address is outside their centre’s country, but I am very sorry to hear that this was not properly explained to you.
One of my team members has been working closely with you and delivered a thorough and satisfactory resolution but please feel free to email me at lorraine.brule@regus.com if you need any further support.
Best,

The most unethical exploitive company

I leased an office in 2024 and experienced the most exploitive and unethical practices from Regus. They still owe me $1496 for my retainer and have refused to appropriately respond to my Help desk request. Now they have stopped even responding to the Helpdesk request. It has been approximately 3 months since my lease ended and without my retainer being refunded. As infuriating as it is to have to recover the money they owe me, it was even a greater nightmare leasing from them. They continuously billed me incorrectly and then charged late fees. It began when they wrongfully charged me twice for the deposit and then charged late fees repeatedly it. Each month I had to contact them to rectify the issue and it would take another month for them to even address the issue. I believe the would purposely credit the wrong invoice so that they could continues charge late fees for the outstanding invoice wrongfully charging the extra deposit/retainer. They then charged $400+ extra at the end of the lease for a "cleaning fee" and they compared it to a cleaning fee at a hotel. In America, there is no additional cleaning fee charged, in my office there was nothing to clean given that I had returned the office exactly how it was on the day that I leased the office. I recorded a video for proof. They also lied about the additional fee. When I signed the contract and asked about each line item, it was told to me by the agent that no additional fees would be charged at the end of the lease term unless there was damage. DO NOT lease an office with this company!

Hi Bria,
I’m very sorry to hear of your disappointment.
You processed the retainer request on 3 April, and it was refunded on the next payment run on the 16 April and should have already credited into your bank account; it has not been 3 months as your complaint suggests.
We apologise if you sent an email and were expecting an answer. I am unable to find any recent emails that the Account Helpdesk received so there must have been an issue when sending this.
You have never been invoiced incorrectly. The retainer you mention in your complaint is a payment method retainer. We ask all our customers to add an automated payment method to their account. I apologise if this wasn’t clearly communicated to you but it’s in the terms of your agreement. We understand that this is not always possible, so as an exception, we can agree for a customer to pay via an alternative method. That exception is made on the understanding that an additional service retainer is payable.
As you decided to add an automated payment method to your account (which you can easily do through your online account, myregus.com, under the Account / Billing and payments section), we credited the retainer back to your account at the time.
Even after this credit, we consistently did not receive payment until later than their due date and this triggered late payment fees. You can review invoice and payment dates on your statement of account, available in your online account.
We provide our restoration service for all customers to save time and money, along with the frustration of dealing with multiple outside vendors such as IT & phone technicians. When you moved into your office, we ensured it was all in working order and ready for use. We do the same with each customer and this service is part of your agreement.
A member of my team has been in touch with further details.
Kind regards,

Find another co work space!

I was originally in the Durham Spaces, which I loved. I was able to transfer to the Regus in Greensboro, NC, and it was the worst rental experience of my career. The staff said one thing and did the opposite. You are held to leases, without the option of them re-renting the space if you want to vacate. They were condescending and talked badly about me when I was standing right outside the door. Even though my office sat empty, I had to pay monthly for 12 months. That is wasteful and harmful.

Hi Tracey,
I’m so sorry for your dissatisfaction.
A signed agreement is a formal business commitment, and it should be ended online according to their notice period. We partner with our customers to help them run and grow their business, but we also have a business to run and cannot cancel an agreement earlier than its end date. Please note that you have signed a service agreement, not a lease agreement so the office cannot be re-rented to other customers. Your centre team informed the same to you and contacted you to help you further, but you remained unresponsive. Your agreement has ended on 30 November 2024.
If you need further assistance in this matter, please respond to your centre team.
Thank you,
