-5 Years of Paid Services Never Provided - Regus Markham Virtual Office - Total Failure & Deception*
I used the Virtual Office and Mail Forwarding service at Regus Canada - Toronto Markham location for 5 uninterrupted years.
From the very beginning, our agreement was very clear: Since I am frequently outside of Canada for business, all mail coming to me would be SCANNED and emailed to me, and upon my request, all physical letters would be FORWARDED to me.
For 5 years, Regus charged me every single month for this service.
For 5 years, *NOT A SINGLE letter was ever scanned and sent to my email.*
When I was abroad and urgently needed my mail, they refused to scan it. They then told me "We don't have forwarding service outside Canada." They told me "Come here and pick up your mail physically" - which completely defeats the purpose of a virtual office for someone living abroad.
During those 5 years, there was an arrogant staff member at that location who did not even bother to reply to my emails regarding this issue.
I was extremely victimized. After this huge disappointment and because they never provided the service I paid for, I stopped the payments 6 months ago. I did not want to do business with them anymore.
And then the unbelievable happened: After I stopped paying, they forwarded ALL the mail that had accumulated for 5 years to my new address in Hamilton. This proves they had been holding my important mail for 5 years without ever scanning or forwarding it. Among them were very important and sensitive documents.
Not only did they fail to provide the service for 5 years, but now they sent me to a collection agency and created a fake debt of $738 for a service they never provided.
Regus defrauded me.
I will take them to court in the strongest possible way. I will not only refuse to pay this $738, but I will also sue to get a full refund for 5 years of service fees that was charged but NEVER provided.
Stay away from Regus Markham. If you are abroad, this service is a scam.
