Avoid Regus IWG at all cost

Replying to your comment:

Misleading sales tactic. Unethical practices. There should be no deposit money while I did not get the keys and using your office therefore no damage can be done. I believe the final invoice can be done manually but it is just if you are willing to do it. Looking at all the comments, almost all complaints from ex or current members are having issues with accountants, not getting deposit back or taking months to get the money back. What you are saying is not entirely true. To all who are reading, save yourself time and stress. Read all other comments and make a wise choice.

Avoid Regust at all cost. I was looking for an office space and sales manager has adviced me to take the month to month membership at 40% discount at €1270,00 in Rotterdam. He verbally re-assured me there will be no price increase. After signing the pre agreement starting 21s November subject to board approval and no official contract was provided. Once approved the contract will be send to my email but that did not happen in timely manner. I finally got the sales person to send me the contract 2 days before starting date 21 November. It was just an internal agreement with no signature and the small letters show they can increase rental after first term already. So sales guy called that the agreement that I have signed is an official agreement and that I should trust him there will be no price increase. According to him, I have no right to withdraw 14 days prior as b2b is not applicable. So I was forced to end the agreement or pay via online even if I did not get the keys and make use of the service. So now they also want the deposit money which does not make sense to me while I am not using the office. So they are demanding me to pay November and December. The invoice does not show any deposit at all and the date is 21-21 November and December which I did. Even though I can use the office but I don’t even want to make one step in their building, incase I get charged for stepping in their building.

It is so chaotic with no professional practise. I absolutely feel scammed. Please do not make mistake like me. Find a reliable company! Never trust verbal agreement. They call you and say things that does not match up. I paid almost one and half months for the office I have not used. I would rather not use it and run as fast as I can with these kind of company.

Hello Alice,
We’re aware that you are frustrated but your comments do not reflect reality.
You had extensive discussions with one of our salespersons who detailed all available options to you including the dates, flexibility, costs and all other relevant details. This is well documented via email and we’ve shared it with you again to highlight that you were fully accepting and aware of the formal business agreement you were entering into. It is disappointing that you have now since changed your mind and felt it appropriate to post this complaint suggesting we have acted unlawfully.
We’ve explained your billing to you which is all correct. We’ve also provided you with the ability to check your invoices, agreement and more through your online account (myspacesworks.com) but you’ve declined to access the self-support functionality.
We partner with our customers to help them run and grow their business, but we also have a business to run and cannot cancel an agreement earlier than its end date. You’ve now provided notice and your agreement will end on 31 December 2025.
A member of my team is in contact with you. If you have more questions, we will clarify once again.
Regards,
Lorraine Brule
