The shoes advertised looked like the kind of thing I was looking for, so I ordered 2 pairs. When they arrived they were clearly of mediocre quality, but I kept one pair and returned the other to the address given on the company's website returns page, stupidly believing their headline claim of “hassle free returns".

Their claim could not be further from the truth! I eventually had to contact them as no refund appeared and was told that I had sent the return goods to the wrong address, despite the fact it was the one on their website returns page. A number of fruitless exchanges ensued until I finally gave up and decided to write this review (I should have consulted Trustpilot before ordering of course).

Do not order from this company as the products are shoddy and you will never get a refund. Effectively they are thieves.

Fraudulent Merchant

On its website, it says the shoes are made USA. The shoes are made in China. Very poor quality. Twice they sent me the wrong size and good luck trying to exchange or get a refund!! They give all kinds of excuses. They even had the nerve to advise to donate the shoes to a friend or relative!! I lost my money. Keep away from this website and successor Larucoarto.

Lied about being a USA Co

Lied about being a USA Co. Lied about the shoes (2 pr. I ordered) being leather uppers. Lied about ortho. inserts with each pr. Took about 3 wks for delivery. Made it very difficult to return - wanted pics of packing, items, etc. prove it was their merchandise. Seemed like I was scamming them. Wish I had investigated first. Junk shoes - very flimsy. No support.

My husband ordered a pair of slippers.

My husband ordered a pair of slippers. They are to small. Don't be fooled by the "easy and free returns" policy. It is neither of those. He took pictures and did everything they asked. They offered him 10% back. Next, my husband went to PayPal. They were no help either. I guess PayPal is useless also. Amazon is the way to go. Do not buy from these people. Horrible.

I foolishly ordered two pair of mens shoes from this outfit. I did not know who they were but I saw "easy returns" and went ahead. When the shoes arrived smaller than advertised I ask to return.. Good luck. No easy return. Ive been offered a 20% refund and that has not even happened yet. Do not order from this China based company.

Buyer Bewsre… not like Amazon or Walmart

Like most of the other reviewers… needed to return shoes for not fitting but buyer has to pay for return shipping to China. I took the 15% refund offered and will donate the shoes to charity and eat the loss. The shoes are made a little differently than the mainstream shoes available in US… fit was just a little weird. Avoid relieffoot.com if you want the kind of customer service we all expect.

We purchased two pair of boots from…

We purchased two pair of boots from Reliefoot and they were very poorly packaged. The boots were ordered in sizes we normally purchase 8.5 and 9. Neither pair of boots fit, they were several sizes too small and the company did not respond until we engaged our credit card company. Since the payment was processed by PayPal *ZHENGZHICON6T3, the company offered to refund the price if we returned the boots. The least we could have returned them to China for was $300, 6 times the cost. We have chalked this up to experience and am offering this review in a attempt to help others decide whether they wish to waste money with this company. I also now see that the company name has been changed to Larucoarto. Appears that they can change names to keep the bad PR hidden.

Chinese company although advertised as…

Chinese company although advertised as American made products. Cheap materials, poor quality made products where you can buy at open market with much lower price. Claim of hassle free return money back guarantee are deceptive. You are asked to ship the product to China for return yourself and pay shipping fee which costs almost the same to what you paid for the products. It is a total scam and stay away from this company.

Not What They Say They Are

My husband ordered a pair of shoes from Relieffoot in his usual size (14). When the shoes arrived they were very tight and certainly not long enough for his big feet. He said, "No way these are a size 14!" So I began the process for trying to return the shoes - FORGET that!!! After contacting the company - explaining the situation- sending pictures of the shoes (which they required) - and being told "Well you ordered a size 14"- They were "KIND" enough to offer me 10% of the purchase price and no return unless I wanted to pay for it.
My advice - Stay away from this company and their products.

Not what the website says they are

I ordered from this company after reading the description of their shoes. I thought the price was good for handcrafted leather made in the USA. After a long delay and many messages to the company and the logistics company the shoes arrived. They look like the picture on the web, but they are not handcrafted leather made in the USA, they are Chines plastic and nothing on these shoes are natural, it is all man made materials. They are junk that you can buy from Wal Mart for $12. They say they offer a 100% money back guarantee, just try to get it. First they offer you a rebate of 10 or 20% and if they do finally allow you to return the shoes, you have to pay for the return postage. This is a scam, stay away.

I ordered a 12-inch wide, which is always right for me based on all the deliveries from various suppliers. The shoes from Reliefoot were tight, and they refused to refund me without me paying for the return postage. It's not worth going through that hassle. Also, Relieffoot shoes seem to be low quality. They gave me a 20% refund, but I cannot use the shoes.

I had to wait a few weeks and had given up getting my order. Then it turned up and the shoes were OK.. not sure they will stand up to any form of rugged outdoor rambling.
But I've had some approval for their appearance.
So if I need some approval I'll wear them just for that..

Stay Away!

Normally, I try to keep any reviews I do to the product itself. I would like to have done that here. Had I ever received it. After 2 weeks, I received a cheap, thin plastic envelope with the free inserts inside. And nothing else. It had been taped up and had a sticker on it saying that it had been "received unsealed". It also had a new shipping label placed on top of the original. This brings up my first point. This is not an American company. And why would a pair of shoes supposedly "Made in the USA" ship out of China? It is my belief that the shoes were either lost or stolen somewhere en route from China before the postal service here received the package for final delivery. The postal service is who put the second labels on it. I think the shoes were just shoved in that envelope, which was too small to have had a shoe box in it. It was so cheap that anyone could have felt the shoes inside and stolen them, or have been so easily damaged that the shoes fell out. Then the envelope, with the inserts still inside, was delivered to the postal service for final delivery. They then taped it up and relabeled it, then sent it on to me. I believe that this company is at least partly responsible because of the poor packaging. But after weeks of arguing with them, the best I could get out of them was a "That's not our problem." and a 20% refund. I feel that a reputable retailer would have just sent out another pair as a good faith gesture. But this is not a reputable company. The deceptive advertising alone proves that. This is not an American company and the shoes are not made in the USA. The company name on their customer service emails was not even the same. There were a lot of Chinese symbols in the title of the email and I believe whomever I was talking to was in China as well due to their not quite right use of words. So I'm writing this to warn people off about doing business with this company. It probably won't go through anyway though. There is a message at the top of this page that says that only customers who confirmed receipt of this product are allowed to leave a review. Since I never got mine, I didn't confirm it. That explains the 5 star rating. More proof of a shady company. Update: It was like I thought. I could not leave this review on their own site. So I left it here. And I'm going to leave it wherever else I can.

STAY AWAY!!!!

STAY AWAY!!!!! The shoes are not as advertised, they are NOT orthotic and, one pair I received is too small.
The shoes come from China and if you request a refund you must pay the return shipping costs which are about the equal to the value of the refund. They did give me a 15% refund without having to return the product. Customer service was slow but consistent.

Read The Reviews First

I wish I had read reviews of this company before purchasing two pairs of shoes. Found out after the fact it was a Chinese company and shipping took weeks. The shoes are at least one to one and a half size smaller than American shoes and they smell like a brand new set of Michelin radial tires. They are very obviously cheaply made. Instead of all the hassle usually involved in getting a refund from a company like this I gave them away to someone who will find someone in need of shoes.

Avoid this company

Shoes run a bit smaller than American sizes (Relieffoot is a Chinese company). 30 day return policy after taking about 30 days for delivery! - major hassle to return - requires information and documentation they should already have. After several days of corresponding, end result was a very small token refund - NO return or reimbursement of full amount.

Is this the lowest star rating

Is this the lowest star rating? Ordered 3 shoes. Two were either the wrong size or no where near what I ordered. Requested replacement told I would need ship back to China which was $70 when I checked postal. Was also told "You can give it as a gift to your family or friends who can fit this product, I think they will like it very much.." Now they have refused to refund even the 20% option should I choose not to ship. They have stopped corresponding. Stay away from this ripoff company.
