If I could put no star, I would have done it. The worst car rental company in Dubai. Do not trust all the positive reviews, most of them are fake. I rented a car in Dubai in October with Navigation. There was none, even I paid for it, they told me that it is normal that the car doesn’t have a GPS and I have to use my Phone with my data. Additionally, since almost 3 months, they did not refund the security deposit and they do not answer my messages. I contacted today my lawyer…. Avoid as much as possible. It is a scam…

If I could give a minus, I would! even 1 is being generous to them!
They have the worse customer service possible, the so called manager by the name of Kin shouldn't even be in the position he is in!
I have booked a car for end of November, I made the booking mid October. They took payment straight away and I never received a confirmation. I have been chasing them for confirmation since then. I had booked the car for pick up at the Airport, i was very clear in my communication via whats app as well that is where I wanted the car available from, only to told now that they do not deliver to the airport and only the hotel. I asked for a refund as this is not the service I booked only to be told extremely rudely that that is my fault! Kin would not let me get a word in to explain that at no point was I informed this or does it state on their website. He had the audacity to say it common knowledge, and when I explained that I have never had this issue before when I have hired cars he changed his tune and said there are 100's of companies in Dubai and they work differently!
He laughed at me when I said i would put in a complaint with the department of consumer rights!
I have now put in a charge back claim with my credit card company!
Never would I recommend to use this shamble of a company! Even writing this review I don't this it make any difference to them!

I found this website through a Google search. They appear big and professional, but two web forms didn't result in call back and when I phoned the next morning to make an enquiry, the person who answered their 800***** number wasn't the least bit interested. I guess they have enough business to not care.

The worst customer service I’ve ever seen - Dubai- compared to back home -USA-
I’ve been renting the car for over 10 months now and never missed a payment but they keep harassing by calling and sending emails every single day asking about the payment besides I’m getting a monthly rental rate instead of a six months rate. THE WORSE

This company is incredibly unprofessional. I had a punctured tyre, and they are trying to charge 300dhs me for it without giving me the garage report. The customer service team are rude and disrespectful. Do not hire a car from here.

We booked a car with rental cars uae, prices were cheap and cars were brand new. We rented Hyundai creta I compare the prices with other companies I find them cheap and service was also good.

Good comparison site which offered me a flexibility to freeze my rental contract during the lockdown thus making it easier for me to manage my finances. Their cars are clean and customer service is satisfactory. Finally, I was happy to see that they ask for feedback about their rental service.

Due to the Covid 19 situation I was offered a discount of complete one month which has helped me through difficult times. I would always suggest them as Rental Cars has been very supportive by their gesture of offering a discount. I would be renting from them as long as I am in Dubai.

I've rented cars form car companies several times. My experience with Rental Cars UAE was normal. More or less they lived up to my expectations.

Booked a car through these to collect at Lanzarote Airport. They arranged it through a company called Rhodium.
When we got there, the desk asked for an additional €139 on top of what we paid Rental Cars for insurance We were told this is non refundable. We were then told the insurance does not cover us for damage and €1100 would be added to our credit card which we could claim back minus any damage, but a scratch costs €600 to replace . Whilst at the desk, a man was complaining that in October, Rhodium had charged him €250 for petrol , he advised us to look at the company on Tripadvisor before booking. We did and decided not to pay the additional amount and did not collect the car as the price quoted by Rentalcars was not the price we were asked to pay. We asked Rentalcars how do we get our money back? There response was, in a nut shell tough. I asked what checks they make on the car rental firms they me, they said they do rigorous checks. Took me 2 minutes research on Tripadvisor to work out there was a chance I was going to be ripped off so not that rigorous.

I am getting a bit concerned about having rented from this company that seems to conceal it's identity, yet is very good at collecting money from it's website upfront. The online interface is good and works well, as does the WhatsApp follow-up, which again seems to be most interested in taking your money, including a hefty deposit which they state takes 14-21 days to refund - why? Any damage and fines can be checked on the day of return. If I have any problems I will just take it directly to Consumer Rights at the Dubai Economic Department, so hope that will not be the case!
I was promised the car "within the hour" which became 2-3 hours, and I have just had the usual call from a driver asking for the location having sent it by WhatsApp. Sadly nothing new regards customer service experiences in Dubai. I hope the car is good and I get my deposit back without aggravation. As a new Customer I am less than likely to use the company again.

02/09/19 A week later I am awaiting collection of the vehicle. All the communication has been by missed call or sms only, no reply to mail, and the online chat does not appear to work. I am very concerned about receiving my deposit back.

17/09/19 After more than 14 days no signs of the deposit refunded. I was told to call a mobile number, which seems very unprofessional but have mailed them also. I've never had a deposit cashed previously, nor had to chase the refund. Seems to be a very dodgy business model in my opinion. I hope it is refunded in the next 7 days before I complain to the Customer Rights people in Dubai and Mastercard.

18/0919 Mail received asking me for bank details stating Emirates NBD only. What is this about? Supplied my bank details and hopeful they will cease messing me around and refund the deposit in full.

21/09/19 Finally get confirmation that they will directly refund my card on 19/09/19. As of today no sign of the money yet, but will wait until the banks open tomorrow.

24/09/19 Still no sign of the promised full refund of 1000 AED as per confirmation mails. How long can a refund take? On-line pre-payment for the rental and deposit took SECONDS NOT WEEKS!

25/09/19 Finally receive the refund 23 days after the car was returned, after numerous mails and chasing. I will not be using a company that seems to use your deposit as a legitimate means of cash-flow for their business model. Please correct me if this is not the case. Why else would a deposit be cashed upon booking a car, and then delayed in it's refund, after returning the card? Avis, Hertz, Europcar and others block the deposit and only cash if there is any issue and rarely for the full amount, in my experience.

I will try e-car and other local options for short term rental in the future.

I would also check the early reviews on the service experienced with suspicion as all are 5 stars but the reviewers all have posted just 1 trustpilot review. Most recent reviews seem to be very poor in comparison to earlier ones so either service has slipped or they cannot be trusted?

still have not been able to have my security deposit back, over a month of chase. DO NOT RENT

I think this company is a joke! Me and my friend travel from the UK and rented a car with them for 3 days. Payed 1000 dirham for security deposit which says it will be refund after 15 days. Yeah right refund to where? No money has arrived so we have to contact with them. Apparently they only give cheque or send it on western union which cost 35£ on your own cost. Luckily i have a friend who lives in Dubai and the person went and pick up the cheque from them. This is ridiculous! Also they only tell you that a charge or Salik crossing is 4 dirham each way! We been charged 55 ued just because we wasn't aware of all the other roads charging! Anyway i think this company might be good for people who actually lives in the UAE but as a visitor with no uae bank account i think avoid this car rental!

It is the worst rent a car company that you could ever work with.
We rented a car for 15 days with a full insurance in order to avoid any charges.
After we returned the car and returned back to our country, they charged us "Scratch" fees!

I rented a car through this company which had existing damage.

I told the driver that dropped the car off to note this on the check sheet which he did (but due to his incompetency marked the wrong side of the car).

When I handed the car back this was noticed and agreed the error was on their part.

I was then sent an invoice for the damage and after various ignored emails and calls have been left with no option but to pay for the damage myself.

I would not trust this company whatsoever. Please avoid!
