High level of seriousness and dedication

Great service

Rented a car through Rental Plus at Cagliari Airport, Sardinia and was very happy with the service provided.
We had already previously booked through another company however despite having a credit card and international license they would not provide a vehicle. RentalPlus came to the rescue, provided us a car on the spot and did it all with great customer service

A 5 star experience from the start to…

A 5 star experience from the start to the end. Fantastic customer service. Kept me informed and answered my questions immediately.
I was met at Torino airport and taken to collect my car almost immediately and the return was just as easy and I was taken back to the airport. It was a very easy process. I would certainly recommend Rental Plus. Thank you very much 🙏🏼

Always cautious when it comes to the…

Always cautious when it comes to the cheaper rental companies but I had nothing but a smooth service from Rental Plus and Diego. Easy to locate, easy process in picking the car up and even easier dropping off. Diego was clear and precise in what was involved and required of me upon returning the car, brilliant service…thank you.

Very aggressive staff who threathened us

Very bad service. Worst car rental ever. We have booked car many places in the would without any problems. But this company is not relaiable. Don't use this company. They cheat with payment and will not make refund. We have booked a car online and prepaid the full amount. When we came to collect the car they would not give us the car only because my husbond had only a Visa debit card. I had a Marstercard Credit card but they would not accrpt any of our cards??!!! And they will not refund the payment. The staff are very aggressive and threathen us. We had to book a car at another company and we lost all our Money

RentalPlus is a scam

I strongly advise against using RentalPlus. At first glance, their car rental prices seem attractive, but be prepared to end up paying much more. I believe that the actions of this company can be considered fraudulent.

Here’s what happened in my case: the contract states that the credit card must be issued in the driver's name, and this needs to be proven. I had all the necessary evidence, but the company's staff refused to accept it, insisting that the driver's name must be printed directly on the card. As a result, I was denied the rental of a prepaid car, and my money was not refunded.

Thus, I paid for the service but was unable to use the car, and no refund was provided. It seems that the company deliberately creates such situations to profit from customers. Be cautious and think twice before dealing with RentalPlus.

Instead of telling you what the customer should do, you better make everything your terms and conditions like all normal car rental companies.

I don’t recommend ,I rent a car from Alghero online I pay and wen I arrived they put me to pay again the same price of the car and they give also another car not the car which was rented and paid.

The car was great however I've got a second pending payment from the company after returning the car.
I returned on time, fuelled up and zero damage. They are claiming I have chipped the windscreen, I have taken photos of the car the day I got the car and it shows the damage is already there.
I took photos of the car and will be reporting fraud through my bank.

If you absolutely have to use this company, take so many photos and so many videos on collection and pick up. The company are absolute scammers!

Dismissive and very rude staff

We had booked a car for a week and paid a deposit, however when we arrived at the pick up location at Rome Fiumicino airport they could not find our reservation, and the staff were not interested in helping us or finding solution.They were incompetent, dismissive, and very rude. Don't use this company.

After lengthy discussions, we decided to find a different car rental agency, and thankfully other companies understand the meaning of custermer service, thanks to Sixt for all their help.

Fast and smooth rental

I rented a car for a long journey in Italy in Rome at Termini Station. I started the rental process on my phone and in the office Franc Balla at customer’s desk helped me to finalize it. It was smooth and fast! The rented car drop-on and drop-off process was also very easy and the staff was really helpful. I recommend this company for your car rental activity in Italy.

A bittersweet start to our holiday.
My experience with Rental Plus Bari Airport was unacceptable. At the rental desk, Ilenia initially refused to check my booking (telling me her colleague at the car park could assist me rather than her. Odd, as she was free then) and then declined my reservation due to a name discrepancy between my driving license and passport, despite my marriage certificate, consistent address on all documents and previous fuss free bookings with twice before with them. She was rude and inflexible, even acknowledging my prior hassle-free bookings and indicating she knew I would complain. Fortunately, Rossella at the car park quickly resolved the issue and issued the car without fuss. Rossella acknowledges that her colleague was being over zeleus and to reassure me this terrible instance would not happen again, she upoaded my marriage certificate and left a note on the system so all will be clear *if* I’ll book with them again. This experience scarred and delayed our family holiday and only improved thanks to Rossella's professionalism.

Its not possible to give 0 stars, so I had to give 1. I have rented cars in Italy more than 100 times, and this is the worst ever. We started up in Rome FCO with a Fiat 500, with only half a tank. We took the car to Chiusi in Tuscany, and here the servo steering broke down. Red lights in the panel and no servo. We called the customers service, and after a lots of calls, a mechanic arrived. He decided, that the car was not to repair on the spot or took away the car. Well, of course you get a new!!! In my world of course. This became my problem instead of the car rent companys. I spent 6 hours on the phone only to be asked to call new numbers, that did not reply. We had to leave our rented house the next day, but no one would help us. BTW. When the car was taken away by the mechanic, the tank was full and not half full, like when we got the car!!!!. No help what so ever. We could pickup a car in Florence or Pisa was the answer!!!!!!! A very long way. We had to do something, because no one else did. The next day we paid ourselves and took the train for 2 hours to get to Florence for a new car. The manager there did not understand, why we did not drove the car without the servo!!!!!!. Then he gave us another car, that was dirty all over!!!! This is the truth. Its hard to believe. We could not spend more time on this, so we took the car and took the 3 hours drive to our next place (instead of the 1 hour, it should normally take from Chiusi). The last of the trip went well. We only had to drive from Saturnia to Rome two days later, and i worked out. This is not a company to recommend. I am sorry, but the service was out of this world, and not in the good way

In response to your reply, I declare yhat I do have an eligible ING Visa Debit Card that I use so I had all documents required by you and still I could not get the car and the front desk employe did not gave me the car I prepaid, what happens with my money now, I paid something I didn't get although I had all documents and Card, I wrote numerous emails and also announced the authorities on this situation, I am waiting for my money back, as I didn't get the thing I paid for.

Don't get robbed by this company - Don't trust them!!!

My father rented a car with RentalPlus for our trip in Italy. We got the car in Florence and returned in Milan, as agreed. When we got the car, it was dirty and with some damages that, of course, we took pictures of all, for our safety. As our return flight was early in the morning, we returned the car in the parking as they instructed us. RentalPlus didn’t return our security deposit (700 euros), claiming that we did the damages. We sent them all the pictures that we took in the pick-up, proving that the damages were already there. They offered us a 200 euros compensation, but we absolutely did not agree. We want our security deposit back.
If you are thinking about renting a car in this company, DON’T.
The car was totally dirty, with a bad smell, and full of damages and they stole our security deposit.

****Answering RentalPlus:
We sent you all pictures proving that the new damages claimed were already there in the pick-up. So, you should return our deposit. WE DID NOT DO ANY DAMAGES. So, it is not fair to pay for something that we did not do.
Now reading other reviews here in Trustpilot, I can see that this kind of situation occurs all the time. So your company is not trustworthy.

Great car hire experience in Italy

Too many issues for a single rental....

Booked using DiscoverCars,
- The company chosen (otoQ) does not really exists, in reality it was RentalPlus, not clear where to take the shuttle and the driver didn't know the existence of that brand...
- Reached the rental point to discover we were in overbooking so they didn't have any car ready for us, already lots of people arguing and screaming....
- Waited at the rental to see if some cars was returned and fortunately (few people left without a car) they provided us a car (bigger that the original, no extra fees, good)
- Returned the car without any issue
- We paid more than what DiscoverCars reported! supposed to pay €115.88 (£97.93) at pick-up, RentalPlus told me there was something wrong but to do not worry, at the end I paid £138.98 (and already paid 49.71 to Discovercars)
Too many issues for a single rental....
