Wasteful

I put in my budget amount it sends me over my set amount
I ask for houses I keep getting apartments

No place like home

I was looking for apartments. I don't like apartment life but I thought Discovery View seems like a nice place and it was within my price range. It used to be a place where seniors could live but you had to have meals there and you had to pay for them and there were people who did your laundry and so forth well I'm not at that age yet. But now it's just regular independent living. And I had called many many many times and finally got the apartment manager. And I was told to come in and get an application and my name would be on the wait list for a two-bedroom which at that time almost a year ago there were only three maybe four people.
Well every few months I would call and ask where my name was on the wait list and the executive director as she was called would say nothing has changed. I said okay I'll check back in a few months. Well now it's almost been a year and now for some reason I can't get a hold of anyone there. I keep leaving messages but none of my messages get returned. I even came in once and gave myself a self tour and the people that live there seem nice and it seems well kept and well maintained and I thought this would be a good place to live.
But they're phone message is not even up to date and that doesn't make sense. When you call it's like you're calling the old place because they ask you do you want to talk to somebody in the kitchen do you want to talk to somebody and maintenance and there is no more kitchen and there is no maintenance that I know of and shouldn't they change their answering machine to reflect that? And the woman who's the apartment manager or as she calls herself the executive director is never there to answer questions and I think maybe she works part-time over at Marine plaza. So one time just for kicks I called over at Marine plaza but they have a different number now and there's no new number that I could find out and I spent 15 minutes trying to find that number and finally found it and lo and behold I just left a message. I even called the property management company guardian and I left a message and they never called back. And in these days where there are very few apartments that are decent you think that people could be a little more customer service oriented and call people back? I mean what do these managers do all day in their office? I mean are they fixing toilets sinks are they painting I don't think so.
I mean after a while of being ignored it's just really pisses you off that these people don't even care so why should you want to live there?
Maybe that's the key word you don't want to live there.

A better place to live

I live at Beach View Villa a better place to live the Management Team is wonderful the work orders are pretty fast I got my new burner plates pretty quick with the entire staff on it had a burner check he fixed it !! I was pretty happy about our last eviction wow thank you !! The towing I feel safer living here thank you so much KS...!!!!...
