Great tool for finding a place to stay
Great tool for finding a place to stay. I was invited to 3 viewings in 2 weeks which matched my search.
They search through rental agencies and websites I didn't know existed, and it was through those that I got the viewings. Some of these external websites might require you to pay to apply, but the three I landed on were free to use and schedule a viewing.
It is really important to be quick on applying, so the real time email notifications came in very nicely.
All in all, got my moneys worth out if it :)

RentHunter has been a reliable website for most international students, and it shocked me with the variety of housing it offers. I always check listings to see if anything comes up, and so far the search is still far from over.

Good platform, but a free trial would be very helpful
The platform looks easy to use and has a good selection of rental listings. However, I believe it would be much more user-friendly if new users could access a free trial for a few days before purchasing a subscription. Finding a home in the Netherlands can take time, and being able to explore the platform first would help users decide whether it meets their needs. A 3- or 7-day free trial would be a great improvement and would likely encourage more people to subscribe. Overall, I think this would create a much better user experience.

After spending a long time searching for a place to rent, I was starting to feel exhausted. I found myself checking multiple housing websites every day, which took a lot of time. What I appreciated about this platform was how quickly it alerted me to a new listing in Amsterdam West. I was able to apply straight away, and that made a real difference. In a competitive rental market, getting timely notifications can be a bog advantage.

Great experience for those looking for any sort of apartment in the Netherlands
I found rent hunter by searching through sites that are mainly for renting houses not necessarily as a student but its also very student-friendly. I was surprised by how precise the app wants you to be for a more convenient and easy search for your journey. Now that I'll be living on my own with my brother I'll probably use this site on the daily considering how versatile it also is. So far since it's my first time using this app, it really went above my expectations. I didnt think I'd find some places that fall down to my likings. Im glad I made my decision to use this app! I cant really find anything I dislike from this app/site or anything that really needs a change. It has everything you need, very specific detail so you can find a place to settle in, and it even seems scam-free which is the biggest issue I faced whilst looking for a house. Overall this app facilitated my journey on trying to find a place to settle in the Netherlands!

I find the website very appealing, specially for students as I am one myself. The website is easy to navigate and has a clean, user-friendly design. I like that the listings are well organized and include useful information about the properties. However, it would be helpful if more listings included additional details such as whether registration is possible, if the property is furnished, and clearer information about extra costs. Overall, it's a good platform for finding rental properties.
