RentSlam is just your Google
RentSlam is just a company that looks for houses on other websites. To respond on the houses they found for you, you have to register on the website that they found. This means that you pay for someone who looks for houses on Google for you and the actual agent. I took the subscription because of the good reviews, but if I knew that this was the service, then I wouldnot.

You activated your account on the 25 of may, and placed this review on the 27th, not even a full 2 days in. I really think you should give it a bit more time before you come to conclusions. We literally monitor over 1.000 sources actively and have sent you about 75 matching listings so far. If you want to do this yourself by searching on google you need to visit all websites, because google does not instantly index every new property. Besides that, we get the matching properties to you within 30 seconds of them being published so you can always be amongst the first few to apply.
Regarding the websites where you need to register, those are optional. You can turn them on or off in your search profiles. Some customers actually really want to receive them, that is why we added the option.
Please let me know if you need any help from us in the process. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you or if you want to cancel your account and receive a full refund.

My experience was good. As soon as there was a property avaible on the market for rent, I receive an email and text from RentSlam which in turn increases my chance of responding to the property first. And to be subsequently be chosen amongst the first one for viewings 😊

Of course, it took a while to find our home but RentSlam kept sending matches every single day!! Maybe the website is not the most user friendly? Could use some improvement mainly on the layout, to make it look more professional (because in the end it works super well!)
