absolutely atrocious company

absolutely atrocious company. after buying a UCS set that was on sale from 289$ at 150$ and have been over a week i got a notification that the company itself cancelled the order. without my knowledge or a reason given, i contacted the help line and was told "we have no idea how you bought this item for 150$ when it is going for 289$ we're losing out on 100$. there's nothing we can do for you." even after explaining their own item on sale they refuse to acknowledge the fact i had already paid for the item and will not go forward with my order.
i have bought other mystery boxes multiple times and was on the weekly box, the chances of receiving a large set from the description was a decent chance, but with each week and each box i got it was only ever something small scale. it has been a complete joke and waste of money purchasing anything other than MINIFIGS or an ATRT. you know what you're getting and the chances you get jipped are the lowest. even still the support team is trash and the mystery boxes are flawed and a joke as well, horrible experience and gigantic waste of money.

DO NOT RECCOMMEND EVER!!!

STAY AWAY

This has to be the worst purchase I've ever made. After my order was just not shipped when it was meant to be, I emailed customer service and my order was canceled. I was simply told "I wasn't worth the headache." I only asked about when it would be delivered.

Over 4 months waiting for an order

4 months waiting for an order, all I get is it will ship next Wednesday. Thw tracking doesn't update at all. Customer support is non existent. Can't even rate the product because I never got my products. No reason why they won't ship or why parts of my order were canceled.

MAJOR SCAM

Hi,

REPUBLICBRICKS support was completely rude and I thought I figured out I needed to address Route insurance. Before I found out I needed Route insurance, REPUBLICBRICKS said once the package has been shipped it’s, “out of their hands,” that’s all. I then found the Route email. However, I get to a section and write an entire email to an insurance agency, just to find out my package is NOT actually insured and that Route is just a template for your emails to go back to REPUBLICBRICKS, who has no interest in giving me a refund for TWO SEPARATE MISSING PACKAGES. One of my packages was delivered to an agent and the other one (they sold out of a figure and I had to beg for free shipping after they refunded me the 2x figures AFTER it told me my order shipped). Not only has the customer support been absolutely horrendous, but now I have to claim a file on an entirely different website that doesn’t actually exist and I have no idea if and when I’ll ever see my package again. It’s really concerning that REPUBLICBRICKS would NOT confirm which address they sent it to and it easily could have been incorrect. Given that this occurred & they hand out so many free items with purchases, makes me think it’s a massive scam. I do not think I’ll ever see these packages and it’s completely obvious after seeing REPUBLICBRICKS pays people to review their company on TrustPilot and that the insurance their shipping offers is completely faked. They don’t do anything, they give you a blank message box to type to REPUBLICBRICKS and then you have to copy and go email them yourself. REPUBLICBRICKS told me I needed to contact ROUTE. Easily the worst customer service (considering it’s a fake company). The founder of REPUBLICBRICKS, Timothy Sterkel, if that is his real name, clearly knows how to run a scamming business.

I am including the address because REPUBLICBRICKS is not very open about this address, while at the same time failing to exist at the following location. This is the address REPUBLICBRICKS claims to work under:
1557 Park Lane South, Jupiter, United States, 33458
(This address was initially omitted from the website/public eye. It is only accessible through spam subscription emails.)

REPUBLICBRICKS types without punctuation or proper grammar and then proceeds to attack me, yet again. But this time, instead of attacking me on their email thread they come to the review section. I will leave it up to the people to do their research on this company. Search “REPUBLICBRICKS legit” or “REPUBLICBRICKS Reddit.” You can even search, “Route legit.” You will see. It’s one thing to scam people, it’s an entirely other offense to lie about people’s interactions with you to defame their character. Please grow up, kid.

Additional information: REPUBLICBRICKS continues to harass me via email, text & even an email I never used for purchases nor a subscription. Friendly reminder that signing up emails without the owners permission is illegal and only adds to your scamming record. The Federal Postal Bureau is investigating the mysterious disappearances, or rather the non-existence, of my packages.

Thank you,

PD

is a legit insurance company. If a package was lost by USPS, and you paid for route insurance, you are eligible to get your money back. We have explained this in numerous emails to you, but you either do not reply or send us a list of profanities back.

Our address,
1557 park lane s
jupiter, FL

is public knowledge and posted on every single one our packages. I am not sure what you mean by that.

Lack of trust and overall trust in republic bricks.

After ordering a mystery box with no luck and one of their custom minifigures, I still had relative trust in them and decided to purchase some more items, even though the minifgure was poor quality compared to the Chinese knockoff of the same figure. This time around, I ordered a $65 "guaranteed" mystery box, a "promo mystery" box, and a "mystery" cloud city sealed set. The order did come with two other free items, and a whopping $30 shipping fee. All of the items were micro items, and minature sets. Aside from one of their custom figures, the order was full of cheap options and put into an envelope. The envelope also makes me question how it equals a 30 dollar shipping fee, since I have had plenty of items shipped internationally at a much smaller cost. I feel most of their bigger "mystery boxes" are saved for their go-to streamers and overall, I will never be ordering from them again.

I was so happy that I ordered the…

I was so happy that I ordered the mystery box for a mere €7.50. It didn't say micro or mini scale. Well, the price should have made me suspicious. Shipping to Germany cost an additional €25. OK, I thought that was fine. Well, what did I get? A small bag with maybe 40 small parts. You kind of feel like you've been ripped off and the answer to my question if that's all there is was that it's playscale. As I said, I would have paid the €25 if the content was reasonable. But that is not the case. They promise you something but don't keep it. The customer service is also uncooperative and points out that they offer the cheapest shipping to Germany at €25. A quick Google search showed me that this is nonsense. Whatever, I've learned my lesson and won't order from there again.

very misleading

very misleading. I have bought a few things form here but the mystery boxes are a very misleading and its shady to the point were I am skeptical about buying anything from them. If you like there sets I would just stick with that but avoid anything that seems to good to be true.

If I could I’d rate this a 0 I would

If I could I’d rate this a 0. Absolutely awful company, ordered a gunship mystery box which was supposed to come with 10 clones and got 9 with mis matched parts and the smallest gunship they had to offer. DO NOT BUY!

whole website is scammy.

whole website seems kinda scammy.
1.prices are too low to be true (I did some more research and most pieces that are shipped are just not whats advertised. i have not found one positive review on any of the products.)
2. theres literally sales on products that never end (thats illegal btw)
3.most designs are blatant copies of other peoples work, the other designers are treated like crap
4. theres way more to say, just look up the website on youtube.
5. the fact that theres only 5 and 1 star reviews propably stems from some kind of bribing or botting by republic bricks. and even with that the amount of 1 stars is higher.

Horrible

Horrible. I ordered a ucs mystery box and mystery figure. Over a month later (when it had no preorder date) I asked why I didn’t ship. They then proceeded to gaslight me that it did as I checked the ups status as (waiting to receive). They told me it was just taking sometime to process. Over a week later. Still nothing. I then force them to send me my ucs set. What I received was a figure with mismatched parts. A no name unrecognizable figure of poor quality. And my ucs set was the ugliest color scheme of a 172 piece set. UCS are supposed to be the best built, biggest, and nicest sets. And he makes people think that’s what they are getting and gives them something with a piece size smaller than a 13 dollar set from the grocery store…… in ugly yellow. Don’t waste ur time or money on this.I ordered and received one other item from him to give another shot. It was a small crab droid missing two pieces(out of a tiny build) and won’t hold itself up. Don’t buy anything from this store.
