Great

Great, I was skeptical of the service I even thought the US address I was given was wrong as I couldn’t enter the full suite info in my JC Penny order, everything arrived on time at the US location. I received notification when it was processed and proceeded to further ship to my home in Canada. This is a fantastic option!

I’ve never used a service like this…

I’ve never used a service like this before, but the whole process turned out to be incredibly easy and fast. I’m in Canada and wanted to buy something from a website that was sold out here, but still available in the UK. I was a bit skeptical at first, but since it wasn’t a high-ticket item, I figured I’d give it a try. Worst case scenario, I’d be out $40.

Once I received the delivery notification from the original retailer, within about 30 minutes I got an email from Reship confirming the package had arrived at their facility and was ready for me to choose a shipping option. I selected the 5 business day option and it arrived in 3.

Overall, it was a really smooth experience and I’d definitely use the service again.

Insanely expensive

Insanely expensive. I had a small package (4.3lbs) and the only options they could provide were FEDEX starting at $81. The package content wasn't worth more than $31. And I have a GOLD membership. Pointless. Might as well have let Amazon deliver it directly.

At no time in the shipping process was…

At no time in the shipping process was i told I would need to hire a Customs broker to clear my shipment in Mexico. My shipment had a value od $38. I paid Reships $44 fee because it was cat food that my daughter needed for her very picky cat.I get a notice from FedEx that my package is being held at the airport until I retain a customs broker in Mexico to clear it.I call a few Customs brokers in Nexico and have some difficulty speaking in English with them. One Customs broker tells me that Customs brokers will probably chargec$1000 dollars to clear my package. My $38 package was then sent back to Reship who charged mec$24 to return it to me. Reship never gave me any warning when I sent my package to ymexico that I would have to choose a Customs broker and no information how to do so or what it might cost.

Reship is a total scam factory, with complaints dating back to 2017 exposing a pattern of incompetence and fraud. BBB’s F rating, Trustpilot’s hidden negatives (despite 4/5 average), Reddit rants (r/shipping, r/Scams: “avoid – weeks to receive, no integrity”), and X posts (2023 address errors costing $1k, 2024 inflated fees for cheap items) show systemic issues: packages “stuck” for months, undervaluation leading to customs problems, 50%+ shipping markups, ghosting after payment, lies about shipment dates to kill returns, extra $25 “abandon” fees, and refusal of refunds.
My horror story: Package #2425505 (4-unit Ipsy beauty bundle incl. MineTan Bronze Babe Kit, value >$600 retail) arrived at their Portland warehouse Nov 25, 2025 via Amazon. “Shipped” Feb 13, 2026 via PostNL (tracking SPRCA00002993352) – but stuck 21+ days in “transit,” with tracking saying carrier awaits Reship’s handover. Undervalued at 0.04 CAD (gift sub), but real worth $600+. Fees: $42.97 USD (setup $5, receiving $7, shipping $12.87, insurance $10, GST $2.30, QST $4.60). No updates despite emails – pure negligence impacting my disability and mental health.
This isn’t new – 2020-2024 reviews echo the same: “rip off” pricing ($90 for $15 books), PO box bans, unprocessed parcels. From 2017’s year-long waits to recent 2026 ghosts, Reship preys on international customers. Demanding full refund/compensation; filing OPC Quebec, chargeback, potential lawsuit.
