I reached out to Resi as I had a complex planning permission situation, with little to no hope of acquiring permission due to a mishandled application by a previous architect. However, Nick from Resi engaged proactively on the topic, clearly explaining how we can refute the reasons for the refusal, being honest in his opinion and how we can approach a new permission. This has been massively helpful and I would recommend Nick for the great communication and expertise.

We used Resi as the system seemed very straightforward and the reviews were decent. We were ready to go ahead, get quotes and move forward and things seemed mostly okay. Our architect didn't really listen to us much nor offer much in the way of options, but we got there in the end.

The real issues occurred when life got in the way. We lost a child and I lost my job, meaning that the large investment required that was required for an extension was more challenging, and our mental state was horrible.

With that, we tried to put the project on hold, with Resi's response being that they'd take the money we'd paid and put it as 'Resi Credit', which we would lose (I'm pretty sure illegally) if we didn't utilise it within six months.

When we felt forced to get the project going again, rather than simply reopen the project and utilise the credit, they provided a new quote with the Resi credit taken off. However, the price to get the project back to where it was paused was double the credit value - quelle surprise.

Working with Resi feels like striking up a friendship with someone who periodically picks your pocket, bugs you on the phone whilst you're going through some of the hardest challenges of your life, and doesn't listen to what you need at any stage (unless they can turn it into a cash grab for them).

We're still in a horrible place mentally and financially, and Resi doesn't make it easier. Their pricing is extremely opaque but - then again - what's another £500 or £1000 or £360 between friends (as long as you're the one giving it to them obviously)?

Nick was very creative and understood our needs from the get go. We took his services to design and get approvals for loft conversion and garden room. He was always very responsive and quick to come up with solutions. We highly recommend him and his team.

Amelia was a great surveyor. Told me all the details of what was going on. Great service.

We had a good experience, with Andrew being particularly responsive and helpful at critical moments towards the end of the project. There were a few hiccups at one stage and Andrew stepped in and sorted them quickly. We were really grateful for that. Would recommend!

I'm very pleased with the services provided by Resi. Reem has been outstandingly helpful, not only with the design aspects but also in thoroughly explaining everything and answering all my questions. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for architectural design services.

I have been working with Resi alongside Alberto, Callum, Richard & Nick, over six or so months to seek planning permission to develop existing services for vulnerable women.

I have been so impressed by their commitment, sensitivity towards our services and the exceptionally high standard of their work. Communication has been excellent throughout. We've scored a Hattrick and planning permission has been granted across all boroughs applied to!

Having a company take all the legal side and design options of any potential home improvement has been most welcome. Resi have in my opinion have exceeded my expectations.

As part of our journey with Resi we were required to have a Measured Survey. This was carried out by Amelia who advised us of the process as she carried out the survey. She was very communicative and respectful with us and carried out her work very professionally. The end result was amazing and we are sure this will be of great help to her colleagues as we move forward with our plans.

This is my second experience on a project with Resi and so far it is just as good as the first. I have been working with Esmerald at the concept stage and he has been consistently prompt with his work on my design and his responses, as well as helpful and knowledgeable.

Staff at Resi were generally helpful. However, there is a particular staff Alysha who was supper nice and helpful.

Alysha made my journey with Resi effortless and enjoyable. She was very polite always responsive and ready to assist. She checked up on me almost every week with a phone call to see if i had any question or clarifications about the Project whilst assisting with suggestions. Alysha's conduct has clearly left a positive impression on Resi's performance and competence in their service delivery.

We appointed Resi to work on the plans for our ground floor extension: we'd had designs initially created in 2020, but paused the project due to budget. Once we restarted the project, we needed plans updated to reflect a change of materials and consider other adjustments needed.
Here I will mention that I wasn't initially thrilled with Resi - the first stage of the project with them was a little confused, and I'd recommend anyone using them in a similar situation to be very clear about the initial brief: there was some miscommunication in the early stages and misunderstanding about what was required and expected, which seemed to occur as the project was briefed between teams. I doubt this issue occurs if you're using Resi from the start, but do ensure you're clear on what each stage entails if you're working on a similar project.
However, I am still happy to offer five stars as I have had such a fantastic experience with Andrew Sutherland, who created our plans for the building regulations stage. Andrew is incredibly knowledgable and I have found his insight and expertise invaluable as he's worked on our project: one element that I found most useful is that I predominantly worked directly with Andrew and at each stage he's taken time to explain any elements I was unsure about or needed guidance on. He created the plans, alongside his team, efficiently and was happy to work in a collaborative way with other parties involved. Thank you Andrew!

Very good experience with Resi overall. We have now gone through the whole cycle from initial brief to completed build. Special thanks to Andrew Sutherland on the buildings regs side, who was immensely helpful and responsive.
