I had a great experience, life saving products

I had a great experience buying from Respro. I live in Shanghai and their masks have been a literal life saver during this virus outbreak. I had some sizing questions and needed advice about which filters were best suited to my environment, the customer support got back to me very quickly and my order was shipped and delivered to Shanghai with no problems.

My experience with Respro has been Excellent!

The customer service and the products are great. When I had a sizing issue with a mask purchase I was helped through a process to build something better suited to my sport. The exchange product arrived very quickly and was perfect for the job. Several others have bought similar masks as a result.

Unbelievably poor customer service

Unbelievably poor customer service. They do not provide any returns information on their site so you are forced to email & ask them for instructions. I requested either a refund or exchange 3 times only to be replied to by 2 standardised template emails which didn't answer my question & finally a personalised email which claimed my email was 'ambiguous', 'unclear' & that I needed to 'articulate clearly'. Utterly unprofessional, inappropriate, derogatory & still didn't make any attempt to answer my question. As one of the previous reviewers noted, they clearly do not respond to reason or logic. If you feel compelled to buy their product go through a 3rd party or better still, find an alternative option. I will be looking into legal avenues & seeking advice from the Consumer Advice Office as I still haven't got anywhere.

Worst company ever

I ordered a bag cover for my bag, the one I use for cycling to work, it came and did not fit the whole bag. So, I emailed Respro and asked about a refund procedure, they did not reply so I chased, once they did reply they asked for a picture, I sent one, again I had to chase for a response to which they said it was fit for purpose so they would not refund.
I responded that under consumer law they were bound to provide a refund if I had reported within 14 days that I wished to receive a refund, which I had. They then refused again. Each time I had to chase for a response.
They flatly refused to abide by the law, and I had to seek advice from the Consumer Advice Office, I sent two letters, under the advice of the Consumer Advice and both received no reply from Respro.
Respro have provided the worst customer experience I have ever had, they seem to think they are above the law and can disregard a customer’s legal rights and treat customers with arrogance and disregard.
I will not be giving up on principle and will go to court to highlight the way that Respro treat their customers and to make them realise that without customers they are nothing and customers deserve to be treated correctly and within the law.

This company is a sham, avoid at all costs.

This company is a sham! Avoid at all costs.

- The product is cheap. It doesn't fit properly, it doesn't do what it is supposed to, and it's made of flimsy materials.

- They will never refund or exchange for the wrong size. Their "guarantee" is a flat-out lie.

- Their customer service is literally a con job. (No response for over a week. When I followed up, they attempted to prove they'd sent me an earlier reply by writing "ORIGINALLY SENT 10/23" at the top of the email. Sorry, buddy, that's not how email works. When I asked them to simply forward me the original email, if it existed (it didn't), they instead sent me a screenshot of an Excel spreadsheet. When I again asked them to simply forward me the email they claimed to have sent me, they became livid.)

- They threatened legal action when I suggested I'd be reviewing them on this site. Sorry, friends, but you can only pursue legal action when someone lies. All of the above is documented and true.

Avoid this company like the plague.

Respro - a company to avoid

Respro is a company to avoid:

1. Product: very bad adjustment to the face.

2. Customer service: takes weeks to get an answer or no answer at all: very rude.

3. Refund policy: they don't refund. If you buy a product, you are stuck with it.

Overall customer experience: It's been very annoying to deal with this company, I wouldn't recommend to buy something from them. I lost 79 GBP and can't return the products, they find excuses so you can't ship it back.

Think twice

Bad customer service. Be aware, you are wasting your time with arguments and logic. I was mislead by the positive customer reviews on their website.

Do not waste your money on "UPS/FedEx express service" unless you think of "express service" as meaning possibly 5 days to a neighboring country. Add to that 1 business day for Respro to process your order.

The quality of the face mask (Respro Allergy Mask) seems reasonable but you may want to consider US-based RZ Mask instead. Also, filters are half price compared to Respro.
