Keep away from this dodgy car sales garage

Sold these cowboys my car, oh how stressful. They had the car friday April 28th and said money would be in the bank on Monday, I had to keep hassling as my money still wasn't in by Wednesday and I needed to pick up a new Car so had to delay a new car. Could never get them to answer the phone. They then came up with an idea of paying part bank transfer and the rest in cash. Called in on the Thursday to collect £19,000 in cash. Now that's dodgy. They turned round and said I wouldn't get my may refund from tax as its not been put in their name as we were waiting for new logbook, but what's the problem of saying that to dvla? The wasted days, fuel and time we had due to these people are unreal, if you want a easy transaction then avoid these people. Very unprofessional. If I could give 0 stars then I would

Bought a car and tried to exchange it later

Bought a car. An Audi S3. They were so keen and quick to take my money. It came with a broken plate light, which isnt really a big deal. However I was struggling with payments and tried to part exchange or sell the car back to them. When it came to this I was ignored for 4 full days, with no bother at all to help me. They never pick up the phone and simply dont care. I still havent been contacted by them. If I could give them no stars I would. Once they have your money good luck getting it back.

RevitupUk Sold me a Deathtrap

RevitupUk are to be avoided at all costs.
I bought a car off Revitupuk Ltd to enjoy the summer with my young son.
They Sold me a SL500 online showing 57000 miles , arrives with 58500 miles and with a flat battery and leaking suspension fluid all over my driveway. ABC Active body control Take to workshop and drive carefully message. They have ignored my request for a refund as I have no faith in them as a company or the cars they sell . I even specifically asked if the car was ok and had no issues with the suspension as SL500 can suffer from these problems , They of course told me it was a great example of a car and I would be very happy with it.
Read other online reviews and you will see they are not a trustworthy garage and should be closed down to avoid ripping more people off.
I contacted them immediately about the problem and was given excuse after excuse about the issue and they claimed it was because the car had been stood and it was all ok when they had it . They haven't even emailed me a receipt for my payment of the car , paid for the dead battery or collected the car and issued me a refund.
The car is a potential death trap and I cannot believe a company can be allowed to operate in this manner .
I am giving REVITUPUK the chance to collect the car and give me a full refund and I will be back on here to change my review.

Purchasing a Golf GTI

Purchased a golf gti mk7 earlier today and what can I say. Was in good hands from start to finish and the team couldn't do enough to help us. The car had short mot so while we waited they put a fresh 12 months on for peace of mind, as we wanted to take the car same day. All of their stock are top tier cars and extremely well cared for. If your in the market for a high spec performace car this is your place to go!

I bought a stunning Range Rover Sport from these guys and and as my proffesion is in customer service I expect a lot! After only a week an engine fault light appeared much to my surprise....and thats when things got interesting....the lads were on it so fast I could not believe it. They not only fixed the problem at no expence to me but provided me with courtesy cars and up to date information even after hours. Cal, Dan and the owner Mark have shown that customer care is Number 1 on their agenda. They seem like friends now! First class service with a personal and friendly touch. I cannot rate this company enough. 5 stars all day long. The cars they provide are nothing less than jaw dropping too.

Simon - Fiesta ST

This is the second car I have purchased from Mark and the Team, as I purchased a Golf R five years ago. After my experience with this car, I was confident in that my recent purchase was going to be another good one, as like the Golf was this car was also a credit to the previous owner. And once again the whole purchase process was an enjoyable experience from initially viewing the car, to collecting the car a week later. I was also lucky to track down the previous owner, who confirmed the history and the complete specification of the work that had been carried out. Therefore I was confident that I was purchasing a car that had been well looked after :) Keep up the good work.
Cheers

Avoid this Seller!! Read on to hear my brutally honest review on REV IT UP UK.

To cut a very long story as short as I can. It took over 10 months of stress and cost me thousands in legal fees and thousands in car hire costs just to return a faulty car that was misleadingly sold to me.
I purchased the car (BMW E92 M3 - R33 PNW) with a fresh service and MOT when I got home I noticed the service was overdue and the MOT was due that week. The car failed with Tyres so low the wires were on show, they could have let go on me at any point, plus a cracked engine sump that was seeping oil. The car was also showing low fluids, brake bulb out and low tyre pressures. This Tells me no pre-sale checks are done whatsoever on the cars they sell. I was also given the wrong logbook so couldn’t tax the car, after weeks of chasing I was told to sort a new one out myself at my expense. This was just the start of the main issues to come.
After only doing a couple of hundred miles in the car over 4 or 5 journeys it started to go in to limp mode on most journeys with a bad misfire and warning lights. I contacted Rev it up to explain all the problems and how the car was not fit for purpose and not as described. I sent them 20+ videos of the car failing showing the warning lights and error codes etc. At this point they took out a year’s warranty and said fix it yourself. The car was failing every journey when my BMW specialist was test driving it, he changed and tested lots of things but couldn’t find what was causing the faults. At this point I was out of options so Rev it up took the car to their BMW specialist but for some reason couldn’t replicate the intermittent faults, so the car was sent back to me in the same poor state and failed on me straight away as expected. I wasn’t covered under the warranty they took out as this warranty does not cover diagnosis work which the car needed many hours of, the faults needs to be found first.
I had no choice at this point but to go down the legal rough which took 9 months of Rev it up ignoring every letter from my solicitors until they finally got the CCJ letter from the courts. They obviously didn’t have a leg to stand on so I finally got my refund, with no apology whatsoever. They then collected the car. Shockingly the car was back up for sale with Rev it up within 24 hours in the same poor condition it was in with no further checks done. This just shows what sort of business they run.
All I can say is stay well clear of Mark Longstaff and his lads at Rev it up uk, they are just a bunch of money grabbing unprofessional cowboys. When they get your money, they don’t care. All the good reviews on here must be the lucky ones. All the bad reviews on here and other review sites are all so true.
They will probably reply to this saying the car was fine etc but believe me I wouldn’t have gone through a year of stress and expense driving a hire car for nothing.
Just to top it off the new owner of the M3 has been in touch with me and he's having the same exact problems with the car and trying to return it to rev it up uk. He too has started court proceedings. Absolute Joke of a company, how has trading standards not closed these cowboys down.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

Very disappointing experience. Agreed a price with the owner through pictures, descriptions and video of the car.
Drove 180 miles to find the owner wasn't even there to meet me.
Sales manager verbally destroyed the car due to some vinyl wrap imperfections and claimed the car would require a complete re-wrap at £3500-£4000?
Wasted a day off work, a full tank of fuel and an already purchased train ticket. Very polite staff but unhappy customer :-(

Buyer Beware

I bought a car from them August 17th and I have not been impressed with the manner in which they deal with issues. After travelling for 5 hours to pick up my Audi S5 I noticed the passenger wing mirror wasn’t working, just as I was about to leave. They told me ‘they don’t check wing mirrors, get a quote somewhere near me and they will cover it’. On my drive home I also noticed a speaker wasn’t working properly, so I informed them immediately.
I had a health check done at a garage 2 days later for my own piece of mind, and they discovered a broken cv boot. How the car passed it’s MOT is beyond me! Perhaps Revitup and the garage they used have some kind of handshake deal in place, just saying.

It was an absolute ballache to get them to cover the issues, and someone even left/got sacked in the process.
They didn’t want to pay for genuine parts so I had to compromise with a second hand genuine wing mirror which wasn’t even the right one for my car, but luckily the garage were able to make a ‘Frankenstein’ out of both.
It was difficult enough to get them to agree on where the work was carried out, as they didn’t want to pay the hourly rates I was quoted. However, i did insist on this, as I needed a reputable garage carrying out the work.

They also tried to claim on the warranty I purchased without my permission to avoid them covering the repair cost. In a way this was a blessing in disguise as when the warranty company called me it highlighted that Revitup knowingly missold the warranty to me.
Mark (the owner) specifically told me that the warranty covers modified vehicles, it doesn’t!
The warranty company told me that none of the engine parts would be covered as the engine is modified, thus rendering the £399 warranty pointless.
When I challenged Revitup on this they were very nonchalant and it took ages to get a refund.

Since my passenger wing mirror has been fixed it has now highlighted that my drivers side heat function isn’t working. And now that I’ve been able to use my car I have also found that the passenger door lock is intermittently faulty. Now they’re saying they won’t cover the diagnostics charge.

It seems like they are very good at selling cars and taking peoples money, but not so good at checking cars over before sale and after sale customer care.

I have held off on writing anything negative because I wanted to give them a chance to change my experience, but they haven’t.
That will be the last time I buy a vehicle from them!

Buyer beware is all I am saying!
