The equipment works as advertised and was able to integrate our legacy Revo cameras relatively painlessly. Not five stars because of the lack of documentation on their website for the hybrid model DVR. The info delivered with the unit is a one page setup guide. I called Revo tech support for some information before purchase and was given some very helpful information that helped me spec out the system properly, but there's no excuse for there being no support documentation for this model on their website. I ended up having to use the doc on a different model which differed somewhat from the the Hybrid.

I took 2 days off work to try to have them get 3 add on cameras to work with the system. They tried to say it had to be my internet causing it. Never have or had the other system that I have. Have any issues adding cameras to it. So I sent them there system back. And ordered the night owl system that I no that will have no problem adding cameras to. They should be open at least on Saturday to help customers that work the same hours as them . That way customers can get help with there systems. And not have to take days off from work

Ordered what was suppose to be a new…
Ordered what was suppose to be a new camera and got a used one not all parts were there. Called got run around over it. Shipped camera back once they received it was suppose to be refunded within 3 to 5 business days .That's totally a lie it took then 22 business days to refund me and I had to keep calling them. Definitely not a trusted company.

I have 4 of their $1,100.00 systems
I have 4 of their $1,100.00 16 camera systems for many years and their cameras are JUNK. I can't fathom how they have so many positive reviews especially about their cameras... Anytime there is a power outage 2/3's of my cameras don't come back on. I have to manually unplug and then plug back in the cameras and even then often they still won't come back on! What good is a security system that has cameras that become disabled by a power outage??? I have spoken to the support guys at Revo about this and they are well aware of it!! Their answer was "I should buy a battery backup for the cameras"!! If this is a known issue why don't THEY include a battery backup in the system?? Not to mention battery backups don't last for 8 hour power outages!!! I have 2 of the systems on my property in Wisconsin 2 hours away so I have to drive 2 hours each way to try and get the cameras working again??? And some of those cameras NEVER start working again!!! I started with 32 cameras and now I have 13 left working!! Anyone up for a class action lawsuit?

The equipment is great
The equipment is great. Works well and has a good life expectancy, I have 4 of my original 6 still working fine after 3 years, 2 just went from sun exposure. The tech support is very good when you can get a hold of them and if you leave a call back number if they call you back. I left a number 3 weeks ago still waiting on the callback. Fortunately, I figured it out on my own. Overall good stuff. just don't wait on technical support.
