Similar to the experience of others, Richard took a deposit for work in October and never completed it. Constantly told me it would be completed but kept pushing the date back. I eventually asked for the deposit back in February. Richard said he would return it but 6 weeks later i'm still waiting.

We had a leak coming through the lead flashing on our chimney just before Christmas. Richard and his team repaired it to a very high standard. They were all friendly, hardworking, and professional, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The price quoted was excellent with no hidden charges, even though the job turned out to be more complicated than expected.

As with many other reviewers, paid a deposit of £1050 for two composite doors to be fitted. No doors, and no deposit returned. Absolute waste of time and now, over 12 months later, bailiffs have been engaged. He is absolutely shameless, do not employ this guy.

Richard Hilton accepted at £2500 deposit to supply and replace two roof lights in February 2024. Over the course of 2024 & after several lengthy text communications it became evident that Richard had "NO" intention of doing the works - it was excuse after excuse, commitments made never honored, materials never purchased. Finally it was mutually agreed that the works would never been undertaken and he committed to repay the funds by Christmas 2024. We are still waiting for those monies have been forced to seek and awarded a court warrant and now appointed a bailiff.

Richard Hilton is an habitual liar, not trustworthy and should NOT be used. We feel totally abused by this "Cowboy" Builder.

Not reliable , numerous promises and excuses , paid for material which didn’t turn up!!!!

Richard was contacted to replace my ridge tiles and put a chimney cap on. when doing the job they forgot to put to put chimney cap on and also broke a roof tile. the job was payed for on the understanding they come back and sort the other bits out. 2 years on I am still waiting with promises they would come out and do job. we have waited in countless time with no show. would message them to either be ignored or told they would be there in morning put never show up. avoid

Richard Hilton quoted for replacing the guttering, I accepted the quote and paid a £50 deposit as requested. He kept promising to come round and do the work, but after 6 or7 false promises and numerous excuses, over a 10 week period, I finally asked for my deposit back, which he did repay. However he still has some property of mine, which he promised to return over a month ago.
