I don’t remember any monthly subscription of $19.99 when I purchased the kit. I thought it was a one time kit. I am not able to find how to unsubscribe on their App or the website. This is very fishy.

scam. they do not clearly tell you that the initial service signs you up for a $19.95 monthly subscription. Nor, do they communicate any of this information upon email confirmation after your first purchase. Nor do they send you an invoice every month to confirm your monthly subscription as most subscription-based companies use as best practices with their customers. Finally, it's not easy to find how to cancel on their website.

Terrible, I noticed a charge for 19.99 from Ribbon as a monthly charge, and went to find the app, and it was gone. They never notified me that the app and product are no longer supported in the US, and I was still charged. I have since canceled the membership, and they offered 1 month of payment back. This was a very unethical and sneaky money grab.

I ordered the smallest amount of test strips possible (thankfully). I NEVER saw where it says after 30 days the card used to buy the strips would be charged $19.95 per month until cancelled. The 31st day after my 1st test strip use--- I was charged. I called them and they removed it. Then offered me a $5.99 per month option for up to 4 tests per month. That also is not mentioned anywhere I can find as an option. I assume it's for people blindsided that caught the $19.95 in order to make them stay. I am NOT ABOUT THIS BS at all. I am just throwing away the box. Lesson learned and out $49.95 for 1 test. The other strips are in da trash.

I purchased a Ribbon Checkup health test kit for about $57, which was supposed to allow customers to check potential health concerns using test strips and their online platform.
On March 8, 2026, I was unexpectedly charged a $19.99 subscription fee that I was not aware of when I bought the kit. When I looked into it, I noticed that the company no longer appears to be selling these kits, and their website has changed significantly, which raises concerns about whether the product is even supported anymore.
On March 9, 2026, I contacted customer service through their online chat and spoke with a representative. He told me the subscription would be refunded and gave me a link to confirm the cancellation. However, when I checked the link and entered my email, it showed that my subscription had not actually been canceled.
After I pointed this out, communication stopped, and the issue remains unresolved.
At this point, I am requesting a refund of the $19.99 subscription charge and the original cost of the test kit, since the product appears to have been discontinued and the subscription was not clearly disclosed.
I have filed a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General and am looking at other outlets such as Ripoff Report. They have an "F" rating on the BBB, but are not affiliated with it.
After experiencing this, my goal is consumer awareness.

I have tested myself at least 8 times now, probably more. When I go to check my history, it shows only two tests. When I try to get an answer from customer service, I get an AI fake person who lies. They claim to be checking why my history has disappeared, but they never get back to me. I would caution anyone who is considering this "service" to look elsewhere. I suspect a scam. One indicator is that they are now flogging a recipe wellness service in addition to the pee strips. They claim to be a wellness company. I think they are TikTok influencers with a bigger budget.

They are not upfront about the monthly fees. Screwed me out of $20.00 for the kit, because it’s worthless now. Screwed me out another $20.00. Tried to screw me out another $20.00. I sent them an email about unauthorized charges to my debit card. Supposedly, they’re going to refund me $20.00. Tomorrow I will file a police report, contact my bank, and the FTC.

Although I did NOT expect to be charged monthly for a subscription, I will say that I was very impressed with the customer service. They refunded my purchase immediately and canceled my account which I appreciated.

Used one strip. Wanted to use the second but the app was gone I got a hold of them and they told me it was no longer available. I did get refunded the full amount.

Cannot navigate site, anytime you actually find a live link it just reloads the page. No place to log in, can't cancel the monthly auto charge.
3/4/2026 Updating my review, I emailed them and they replied stating the auto charge (which I didn't sign up for) will be cancelled. I only purchased the kit, I didn't sign up for or download the app for monthly use and I received a notification that the recurring monthly 19.99 was going to be charged soon. Which prompted me to go searching on their website for a place to cancel. See my first sentence for that experience.

I bought the kit end of January without being informed of a monthly charge. I have used the kit only 3 times, and suddenly I saw a monthly fee of $19 on my credit card. I cannot find anything on the website, and now learned that the website is no longer active. I want a refund as the kid is now useless and I want my prescription cancelled.

It was fine we ran one test but didn’t know they would charge a monthly fee. We can’t contact them. The number I have from PayPal is disconnected. Funny they say they can’t sell in the USA but apparently they can continue to charge. I used PayPal so I was able to cancel the subscription through them but I am out the first monthly payment and a useless 80 dollar kit
