I wish I could give zero stars

I wish I could give zero stars! Order a Mercedes AMG GT thru wowcher and it came reasonably quickly. This is where the positives end, after unboxing it I discovered that the product was badly damaged.

I needed this item as a gift and despite numerous emails and phone calls I wasnt able to get a response. After 3 days I finally got an answer saying DPD would collect it and a new one would be dispatched the same day so I could receive it in time for my son's birthday.

5 days later I still haven't received my item and only after escalating to Wowcher have I discovered that the item is now out of stock so I wont get anything in time for my sons birthday.

Ordered over 2 weeks ago and still no refund or product, if you are thinking of ordering from here please do yourself a favour and look elsewhere

I’ve ordered a ride along car 9months ago
The car is faulty and has not been put together properly as the rear motor wheels are spinning in the wrong direction causing the car not to drive properly so our child has had no use of it we have tried to contact you through phone , email and social media but nobody has replied at all
It’s a disgusting service. All we want is for our kid to enjoy the present.

The price for the item was really good…

The price for the item was really good as we purchased through Wowcher but wasn’t too pleased about the £19.99 delivery when it was only coming from 2 hours away! We brought the product for my sons birthday which hasn’t been yet.

We finally built it tonight with the most confusing and difficult instructions but found that the right hand side back light was not working, there was no damages to be found so luckily our neighbour is handy at repairing wiring and found that the car had a dodgy wire which was almost close to snapping. Now that my neighbour has fixed it, it is now working fine but I shouldn’t have had to get someone to fix it in the first place. We also had trouble with the bolt and nut for the steering wheel as the nut that was provided was actually too small for the bolt! A 8mm nut was provided for a 10mm bolt! So we had to go and purchase one which cost hardly anything but was a pain having to run around to get one. Unless this was on purpose could you tell me the trick to get it on as would love to know.
Final disappointment was that the voice on the sounds of the toy car are in Chinese and there is nothing in the manual that states that this can be changed, I think this should be stated in the description of the product unless you are able to inform me of how to change it to English?

I am just glad that we got the product at such a discounted price otherwise I would have sent it back. A couple of really good points about the product is that I like the fact it comes with a remote and the speakers are very good for a child’s toy! Also the Bluetooth was really easy to connect too. Even thou we have said that our son hasn’t seen it yet as not his birthday we know that he will really enjoy the product.

Lovely little car but I failed to…

Lovely little car but I failed to realise that my little lady isn’t the average size for a 4 year old. The remote is a good addition but the wheels sometimes have a mind of their own when the ground isn’t flat.

Poor service no one bothering to call…

Poor service no one bothering to call me regarding my purchase ongoing issue going back and forth via email still not resolved apparently advisor organised for a exchange got told someone will come within the hour to pick the item and no one attended got in touch got told by the advisor Someone did attend but no one was at home when I was at home for the whole day then get told you need to send the item back at my cost absolute joke

Sent with a company DPD that do not deliver battery’s waited over 3weeks nothing but hassle with it such a joke haven’t received the parcel and my sons birthday isn’t far away when it says next day delivery but can’t even send with the right parcell company. Appoling

amazing customer service

amazing customer service, couldn’t have done anymore for us after buying a car with a few technical issues always so happy and polite and replaced it without a fuss, i have one happy little boy and had an amazing experience, would recommend to everyone 😊

The worst possible experience

I emailed on 13th April 2022 and I’ve been told by a staff member that the courier has never collected my item. The item was ordered on 8th April and supposed to have arrived by or before 12th April 2022.

On the very same day, that staff member told me that he checked with the courier and the item was dispatched and would ‘hopefully’ be with me within 48 hours.

I explained to that staff member that we would be going away on 15th April 2022 first thing in the morning for my son’s birthday party, and that we wouldn’t be around to collect the parcel and if there could be a guarantee for the item to arrive before then. I also explained Alternatively, I wanted to explore routes for compensation.

The next thing I learned was that that staff member had cancelled my ordered, arranged for a refund and asked me to re-order at a more convenient time.

I was totally shocked as I struggled to understand how cancelling my son’s birthday present order, and suggesting the customer to re-order when more convenient is going to be a solution?

I emailed back and questioned the rationale behind the cancellation of my order, and the fact that it was an uninstructed move without the customer’s consent. The next day, that staff member emailed and accused me of seeking a refund the day before. I challenged the accusatory comments and that staff member responded and said that he ‘misread’ my original email. He then, asked me to re-order the item again and told me it ‘would be with me’ by 15th April 2022. To be honest, I have lost faith as the service is utterly unreliable thus far. I certainly don’t agree that I should have to re-order, whilst waiting for the refund that I hadn’t asked for, not knowing whether the item would arrive on time.

I’m now left with less than 24 hours to have to get another birthday present for my son. The service and responses I have received is totally dissatisfactory, illogical, unethical and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to order from them unless you are prepared to have your ordered cancelled when you question the delivery date and explain your situation to them.
