Cass had Covid at that time but she went above and beyond from my expectations. She was always ready to answer all my queries and explain both sides of the situation. We should have more like Cass in this I industry.

I have always had great service and advice from Richard Lloyd. In particular, Adele Sycamore is a very informed and considerate recruitment partner. She works very hard to find the right candidate with the perfect cultural fit. I highly recommend the Richard Lloyd team.

My experience with RL over a number of years is that they have zero interest in doing a good job.

With other recruiters, things move very fast. They'll often send you a job description the same day you speak with them, 1st interview is arranged a couple of days later, the 2nd a week or so later. But with RL, that progress just simply never happens no matter how many times you call, follow up, and express interest in a role.

They also never keep their word. They'll often say things like 'leave it with us and we'll get back to you' or 'we'll let you know when we have something suitable', and these promises are never kept.

What I found really shocking was how different the reality is from their social media image. More than any other agency in Sydney, they seem very concerned about their social media image and they make really big claims about their market understanding and how they're passionate about helping candidates. And yet the reality is the complete opposite of that.

Needless to say, I won't be doing any business with them in the future whether as a candidate or hiring manager and I certainly won't be recommending them to anyone.

David Landau is a true professional. He immediately understood my needs and was able to place me in a the most appropriate role in literally a few days, after returning to Sydney from Singapore. Incredible!
