Jess has been fantastic to deal with. She is by far the most helpful and friendly recruiter I have dealt with, always keeping me in the loop with updates on roles I have shown interest in. She is very proactive and knowledgeable, and I'd have no hesitation recommending her to anyone who is in the job market.

I started working with Jess from SMAART recruitment when a friend of mine suggest I try doing some temp work while I was looking for new work. Jess was very personable and was able to really understand my background in order to find jobs that fit my skill set. She found an office that was after a full-time receptionist to take care of their front desk and she was able to set up the induction process in record time! Once the interview with client wrapped up she contacted me as soon as she got the news I was hired for the site! During my time with the client I was always able to give Jess a call if I had any troubles and she would check in on me to make sure everything was going smoothly! After 9 months the client decided to hire me directly which was a great success! Now that I was a client myself, I was sure to keep in contact with Jess and the team for when we needed an extra hand during events or busy office days! She is always able to find us professional staff and makes the process just a simple from an onboarding perspective. Highly recommend Jess and the team at SMAART!

I was interviewed by Theo Vaa on the phone. He sounded very interested in my resume and experience and said that he wanted to move ahead quite quickly. After that his communication died. I had to follow up regarding whether my application will be progressing to the next stage. He was blase when I called and casually said that the company took on someone from the opposition company.
