Made another purchase at Richer Sounds…

Made another purchase at Richer Sounds in Birmingham and again was very happy with service. Samuel served me again and did me a great deal on a tv,I also got 6years guarantee with it and he even paid for my parking.result.

Hard to beat price and service.

Phoned the store on a Thursday to check availability on the specific TV I had decided on, expecting that as it wasn't shown as available for on-line purchase or telesales that I would have to go into store to collect. Only to be told that it was available at their warehouse and that I could have it delivered to my home address for free. Therefore paid for it there and then, being informed that it would probably be delivered either by the next Tuesday or Wednesday.

As I had been looking at John Lewis for this TV as well (same price as RS), which was at the time out of stock, I had left my email details so as to be informed when back in stock. The following morning after ordering from Richer Sounds I received and email from JL informing me that the TV was back in stock and the price had dropped by £15. Fortunately Richer Sounds have a 7 day price promise to not only match, but to better any similar competitors price. In the price bracket my TV was in this meant that true to their word they met the price and then bettered it by £10. Absolutely brilliant customer service and care.

I duly received an email from the courier company that was to deliver my TV saying that it would on the following Monday (1-2 days earlier than expected), and shortly after a text with a 3 hour window, which turned out to be between 6-9 in the evening meaning I wouldn't have to get anyone to house sit or take time off work.

So last night I watched the position of my TV move around the country on the couriers website, receiving a call at 7pm saying that they would be there at 8. Bang on the dot the van turned up and my TV was brought in.

Very very impressed and pleased with the service I received from Richer Sounds and their hard to beat prices, and warranty. High recommended.

The TV is great too - Hisense 45N5750.

Friendly staff, great gear

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and spent time with a reluctant spender. Lured me in with a great special offer on a home cinema kit and directed my shopping towards some super speakers, cable and other accessories. Ended up spending far more than I had planned, but I can;t wait to set the gear up now. Richer Sounds - I bought my first amp and speakers from your Sale/Altrincham branch in about 1989.. Still going strong!

Fantastic Guarantee. Fantastic service.

After three years, Richer Sounds replaced my faulty Optoma HD26 with an HD27 under the terms of their free six year guarantee. The replacement also has a six year guarantee.

I'm delighted with that, of course, and would recommend Richer Sounds for service and integrity to anyone.

Simply the Best!

Yet another great experience with the service at Richer Sounds. This time I was purchasing a TV for my mum over 200 miles away in the Midlands which presented several non-standard issues with regard to ordering, delivery and payment. But the team in the Birmingham branch handled everything perfectly - nothing was too much trouble. Add this high standard of service to top quality merchandise, lowest prices and a free 6 year warranty on the TV set and you have a product that cannot be beaten in the UK. Thanks guys! SH

Been using them for over 20 years

Been using them for over 20 years. Not that we need to visit very offen. Their equipment does not fail. It's the technology that evolves and need upgrading before it quits. Never been beaten on price either.

I have been a customer of Richer Sounds …

I have been a customer of Richer Sounds for the past 10 years, over the years i purchased equipment for my Home Cinema and various HiFi components. For this purchase I have arranged a demo of the Yamaha soundbar product, the staff as always was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the product range. The price as always was very competetive reconfirming why I have been a loyal Richer Sounds customer over the years. Once at home I set up the new TV and Soundbar and loving the clutter free / wire free set up and experience. Impressive buy for a very reasonable price.

Useful advice

Useful advice, helpful staff. I needed to wait, but not for long. Receipt sent my email said it would contain 'all details of your guarantees' and it does not.

Excellent sales team, 1st class service..

Popped in today to upgrade our hi-fi speakers on the system we bought here last December - had a brand and model in mind after reading many reviews and although we didn't book a demo the Store Manager, Simon, set up the demo room with the speakers we own and the ones we wanted to upgrade to.

Turned out they were not quite what we were looking for so he asked us to indulge him and off he went to fetch a different brand. To be totally sure we asked him to connect a sub to our original choice - no problem at all, despite the store getting busy - he was only too happy to do this.

In the end we went with his choice. This guy obviously knows his stuff and having worked for many years in sales myself, I know a hard sell when I'm on the receiving end of it and this was not it. This was product knowledge, pure and simple , no pressure to buy whatsoever.

Admittedly, we spent a bit more than we would have if we hadn't had the demo but totally worth it to experience music at this level and not go home disappointed.

When we came back with the car to load up the staff didn't even blanch at paying our expensive parking fee for the Bullring. All in all, an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this store to anyone.
